Brilliant - Buckingham Gate Residences and Suites - excellent from beginning to end - butler service, spa, afternoon tea, complimentary drinks and canapés, Prosecco on arrival, warm absolutely professional service. Difficult to beat in London.

Right from checking in to my suite, to the staff, everything was exquisite. The hotel is perfectly located on a silent street but close to a lot of the attractions. The suites are modern, well equipped and extremely clean. Special mention for the housekeeping staff. The perfect base for a perfect London trip.

Brilliant stay at the Taj St James after running the London Marathon. Great location, superb service and hospitality throughout my stay. Breakfast and service in all areas of the hotel were fantastic. My room was comfortable, clean and spacious. I ordered in-room dining, which arrived promptly and was delicious. Thanks Taj Hotels for a great stay, I will be back!

The accommodation is excellent and matched by the service quality. Everything from the greeting process to check oozed a bit of class. For a special weekend this place is a really good alternative to a traditional 5* hotel room as it came with a sitting room and kitchen area as well as an amazing bedroom/bathroom.

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, my family was treated like royalty. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. The porters always asked if we needed anything (taxi, umbrella, etc.) and provided a warm welcome whenever we came back from a long day -- made it feel like we were coming home. The servers at breakfast were very accommodating, even letting my gluten-free son try a dish to see if it could be a viable breakfast option for him. We were beyond pleased with our stay and would certainly come back to the Taj should we return to London.
