The Capital Hotel, with its elegant appointments and reputation for hosting the Royal Family, is a delightful place to find yourself while in London. With a long list of accolades, including being touted among the "Best Hotels in the World" by Travel + Leisure, The Capital Hotel's envious Knightsbridge location cannot be beat. Beneath its lavish roof are just 49 rooms including a handful of suites adorned in fabrics created at the hands of Ralph Lauren and Nina Campbell, with antique furnishings thoughtfully placed. The marble baths are magnificent with invigorating showers and ample-sized tubs.

Something should be done for the showers also the air condition is very noisy and the lifts are very outdated , if someone forgets to close the inner door then you have to climd four floors to get to your room ,people and the service is very good

On a charming side street literally a block from Harrods, so you can experience the hustle bustle of London shopping and eating but feel like you are staying in a residential area. Easy to walk to the sites -- Buckingham Palace, St. James Park, the Warm Rooms, etc -- and easy to hop on the tube as needed. The suite was spacious and we opted for one with a kitchen, which was bright and chic. Excellent breakfast every morning and very helpful staff! Will be back!

A superb hotel, quintessentially British with a staff that create a 'home from home' feeling - will definitely return.

The stay was lovely, if not for some noise. I would like to thank the receptionist, Ariola, for her warm welcome and professionalism. I also extend my thanks to Mr. Paulo for his kindness and friendly attitude.

Excellent stay here—stellar staff that are abundantly happy to help (thank you Miguel!), a beautifully appointed space (large!) with excellent beds, and well-located if you want to do lots of shopping (Harrods, lots of luxury brands very close)! My family of 4 wished we could stay longer. One minor quibble—I found the bathroom lights very bright and it would have been nice to adjust. I only noticed because we had to leave early for the airport and it was a shock to the system at 6 in the morning. This truly was the only “flaw” easily outweighed by all the positives.
