We have been there on quite a number of occasions in the last 2 years. Unfailingly, the staff are extremely pleasant , the service excellent and the food superb. Very well worth the trip ! We went for dinner tonight but the breakfast is a joy.

Although more people are becoming vegan, it's still pretty unusual to find a vegan afternoon tea option, let alone a brilliant one, in a mainstream hotel. We went here for an engagement celebration and four of us enjoyed the regular afternoon tea while my husband kindly offered to share the vegan one with me - he's not vegan and yet said it was probably the best he's ever had! It was so lovely to have inspired, delicious choices rather than being made to feel like an afterthought. Thank you!

I met potential clients here in the bar area and it's a wonderful place for informal meetings. There's a great buzz in the beautifully designed bar and tip top friendly service. I'm a photographer and the quiet meeting room isn't suitable for me, as it tends to get clients feeling a little tense, so somewhere like the bar here is fantastic with it's great sofas. The service is great too - friendly and efficient.

Given the prices and the experience they are aiming for the bar area falls short. It's hustle and bustle is to a point where it isn't a relaxing atmosphere and the tables piled on top of each other makes it too noisy and lacking in personal space. The cocktails clearly weren't tasted as the balance on all 4 we had was wrong. Might be good for midweek business meetings but not a good weekend social choice.
