During a brutal London heatwave, I was staying at the Charlotte Street Hotel. After a long, exhausting day of business meetings, I was desperate for a massage to unwind and relax before finally saying "goodnight" to the city. I asked a hotel staff member if they offered massage service, and she highly recommended I contact www.centrallondonmassage.co.uk. I remembered that she also offered me a comprehensive introduction of the French restaurant Elsa, Italian restaurant Norma, Japanese noodle restaurant Ramen moto, Ramen moto Gallio and Indian restaurant Mowgli in the entire street. If all the restaurants in Charlotte street are gems, this lady must be the hidden gem in the area as her service is amazing and thughtful.

I am aware of the positive reviews of this hotel. I agree with the descriptions that it is a modern, interesting hotel in a good location. Nevertheless we had some negative experiences. Our room (a few notches above basic) was spacious but somewhat dark and with no view. There was no tea or coffee in the room (but they provided it when asked). We were disappointed with the food. At breakfast, the toast was “stale” and barely toasted. It came with two small dishes of jam. We ordered toast for two but they only gave us jams for one and we had to ask for more. On another day, we couldn’t eat the omelette, which was rubbery and oily. The worst, at dinner, was a dish advertised as red cabbage and crispy duck salad. For the equivalent of $AUD 56, it was a plate of red cabbage with fried duck skin pieces (very little meat attached to the skin).

What a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. Like all the other hotels in the group the styling is exquisite. You will not find a better bed to sleep in. The location is perfect; Soho is only a 5 minute walk, Regents Park 15 minutes and Marylebone Village 10 minutes. What makes the Charlotte Street special is the staff. Every single member we encountered was professional, efficient and genuinely friendly. We shall definitely return.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at charlotte street hotel for a weekend trip to London. We had an absolutely fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. The service was exceptional. Warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful without ever feeling over the top. They were super professional and our exclusive expectations were definitely met! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and gave us some great recommendations for places to explore nearby, which really added to the whole experience. The room itself was beautiful, stylish, comfortable, and incredibly well-kept. You can tell a lot of care goes into the details. Most importantly, we both slept amazingly well. The bed was super comfortable and the room was peaceful, making it easy to fully relax. Overall, we left feeling genuinely happy and refreshed. It’s the kind of place that makes your trip just that much more special, and we’d both love to come back. Highly recommend!
