Reviews for COMO Metropolitan London
We knew from the reviews we had read that the staff at the hotel were likely to be very good. We were pleased to find their attention to detail and general helpfulness exceeded our expectations. What an amazing team of people, made a great hotel an amazing experience I had booked the hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday as was looking for somewhere special and this certainly is just that. We were lucky enough to be given a corner suite overlooking the park, and the room was perfect and the view great. So nice to be in central London and have a view over the park. The team at the hotel knew it was a birthday celebration and really kindly sent up complimentary Champagne and a fruit bowl to the room. We also came back from a night out to find a birthday cake had been left in the room for my wife, a really nice touch. My only complaint, we had so much booked to go and do in London, we didn't spend enough time at the hotel. We will leave some time aside on our next visit to try the spa and relax in the room and take in the views.

We only stayed at the hotel for one night and the room was nice without being great , looking forward to breakfast in the morning but it was expensive , watery porridge followed by over cooked english breakfast - my advice go out for breakfast. Checkout a nightmare , had to walk out the door to catch our trainafter waiting 10 minutes to be served .

Very very comfortable room and sleep quality. We arrived at the very early morning, out room was not ready off course and the check in time was 15:00 They promised us the first room to be ready will be us. We were the only waiting ppl at lobby. 3 more groups of 2 ppl came after us. All of them took their rooms except us !!!! Some issue happened to me with the spa reservations and room service food. Not worth mentioning in details . Except, they need to improve the spa reservations taking and queries answering. Location is prime and nice. Other services was really good. special thanks to Dominic for his top services as usual. Hopefully next time they will solve the tiny issues. I would 100% stay here again. Dont take rooms on 2nd floor , you will be disturbed by Nobu.

One of the best boutique hotels in London is the Como Metropolitan, a true 5 star property with excellent service. Located on Old Park Lane, it is neighbour with both the Hilton and Intercontinental and co-located with Nobu restaurant. The hotel features nice an light decor, and the rooms has a great view over Hyde Park. This time of year you have a great view over Winter wonderland in the park. Location wise you are at the heart of Mayfair shopping and short walks from both Oxford street and Piccadilly as well as moments away from Buckingham palace. The rooms are big and spacious in a modern and light decor, and very well planned. The amenities are nice they use technology to give ultimate control over the room and has both premium tea and Nespresso in the room. The minibar is exceptionally well stocked and covers most tastes and if you need more then room service has an extensive selection. The bathroom is small but has a good multi shower and a nice bathtub with their signature Spa amenities. The best room in the house is the Metropolitan suite on the 9th floor with marvellous views over London and the park. Both room service and the restaurant has great food and is decently priced. They have a great fitness centres with a good selection of machines and a nice steam room as well as a full service Spa with a good selection of treatments. The service is excellent, fast and with a personal touch. I thoroughly recommend it if your business takes you through central London.
