Reviews for COMO Metropolitan London
In town for business and the location made sense. Incredibly easy checkin, nice airy lobby, spacious and comfortable rooms, lovely service. Very pleasant stay indeed. And so very central. couldn't ask for a more central location.

I spent a great weekend in London and had the pleasure of staying at the Como Metropolitan Hotel. Great Location Great Service Great Hotel Bar Great Room Great View of Hyde Park Bonus: Nobu is located in the Hotel too. Really Enjoyed it and would return.

The location of this hotel is fabulous. A stones throw from Hyde Park Corner and Buckingham palace. Next to the much more expensive four seasons, intercontinental and Dorchester hotels. The decor is very modern. Bedrooms well spec’d and everything controllable from an in room iPad (lights, curtains, air con, room service etc) Breakfast is often included and is great. For its location and rating it is excellent value.

When you arrive there’s a doubt but the charming staff soon make u feel at home and you soon get the vibe that this is a cool hotel .location is good and for the weekend we were in london it represented ok value.nice rooms with outstanding bathrooms very comfy beds and a fair size for london.they also park your car at a price .bar area nice and relaxed .breakfast a little confused as its not a Buffett style but quality is good .a nobo reasturant is avalible on-site .will be back.

On arrival was told I had only booked for three nights. After showing confirmation email (stating 4 nights) the confusion was rectified quickly. The rooms small but not cramped. Its modern. Perhaps too modern. So much so that everything is controlled by electronics on the phone: Curtain, do not disturb sign, lights... Unfortunately it doesn't work very well. For the first two nights the curtains didn't close. Later after a complaint the curtains and phone errors were resolved. The room was advertised as King Bed with City Views. Views were Nil. Not just bad views, I mean zero views. The largest complaint of the stay was the bath robes. They smelled of cigarette smoke. As they were hanging in the wardrobe, the smell permeated my clothes. It wasn't pleasant. After a note to house-cleaning these were replaced. I was woken up on the third day with the TV turning on randomly - I presume this was related to the incorrect booking record, assuming I was departing... Enquired about staying two extra nights (work trip extended), was offered a rate 30% higher than I could find for the same room/dates on a booking site. I declined. Would I stay again? No. Would I recommend? Probably not. Is it good value? Not if you buy from the hotel direct The location is excellent, and the hotel is good, I suppose much of my issue is bad luck or service related.
