I purchased the 99 pounds Spa day with lunch and massage for my partner and I (Great value). First of all, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The lunch was very nice and accommodating for vegetarians. The view over the Thames and watching the helicopter's was impressive. Headed down to the Spa, the facilities were excellent, very clean, towels, robes, fresh drinking water supplied. The Spa was quite small and dark and quiet..perfect! So it was an absolute shame the sauna's were hardly heated, it took us 30 minutes to break a sweat. Music was playing in the sauna's at around 80db, way too loud, should be 50db and it was on a loop of terrible pan pipe synth...peace and quiet is better, trying to relax! there was no steam in the steam room, just a hot room which had started to smell, the hydropool was suppose to be 32 degrees. It really wasn't...we managed 10 minutes in there, that's even after we had a cold shower. My girlfriends massage was very good, mine was pleasant, I asked it to be harder, but was at best tame to what I've had over the years. Perhaps I am spoilt, I have been to excellent Spa's all over the world and the money is in the details. Hopefully, the manager reads this and checks it over Unless I know it is fixed up, we shall only be returning here for a drink on the terrace and not recommending the Spa to our friends, which is a shame, since we live 10 minutes from the hotel.

One night stay for our wedding anniversary - rooms were clean and spacious Breakfast was lovely with lots of variety A couple of negatives however: Went to the restaurant for a meal and our waitress was very incompetent - took a very long time to come back and take our orders. When we asked what the soup of the day was she told us carrot and potato and yet when it arrived it was leak and potato. The car park is impossible to navigate through as there is no clear signage

I spent a day at the spa with my husband purchasing a treat for valantines day. We spent an hour training at the gym which i loved. It is the perfect little gym where you find everything. It felt like a personal training as we were the only ones. We loved the atmosphere however if more than 3 people turn up it might be tight. The spa was great. The saunas could have been hotter. Both were a bit low temperature so you needed to stay in long enough to sweat. The steam room was out of order. I liked the relaxing hot stone beds. The pool could have been warmer also the massage instruments inside the pool work one by one so you need to wait quite long. From the instrument 3 didnt actually work which was disappointing. We had also a massage treatment which was relaxing. I was happy that they could do pregnancy massage as not all the places they accept pregnant women. Over all we had a good time. We also had lunch at the restaurant which was nice. We saw helicopters take on and off and it was cool to see!

I went to the restaurant during the day only to be told by the female staff that I could not sit at the tables which over looked the river as they all coincidentally seemed to be booked. I had popped in and out of the restaurant 3 times within 4 hours as I was staying there for the night,I saw most of the tables were available. I ordered drinks and plenty of food, yet did not see the tables full. I was disappointed by the lack of service by the female staff, it was one specific member who told me straight away that I could not sit there. I only spent my money there because I was hungry, will not be going there again. Instead I sat near the lounge and could not see the view at all :(
