The Dorchester

It is my first time I come back to the Dorchester after the renovation .I used to stay here long time ago and was pleasant stay with perfect service specially during the breakfast time .The interiors are fabulous and sitting area for the afternoon tea is fantastic .we ordered the Wimbledon afternoon tea .The waitress who was serving us was so awful and didn’t reach the standards of the dorchester .I asked her about the teas and she told me see by myself in the menu.I asked her about their signature teas and what each one consisted but she answered with an upset face .She brought the sandwiches without plates to eat and she didn’t explain what exactly the sandwiches .she keeps the dirty cups and plates and not taking them as long we don’t tell her .The waitress totally ruined our experience and I think the Dorchester should go back to their older staff .

We had a lovely experience at the Dorchester for afternoon tea! Anuar was a great host and made us laugh throughout our time. The only thing we’d say is that we’ve had better sandwiches but the scones were divine!

It’s my first time having the afternoon tea at The Dorchester. It’s a beautiful place. It’s offer numerous tea selection with live piano performance. The vibe is elegant and yet causal and friendly. Their services are friendly and yet professional. Would like to send our appreciation to Anwar, who services are excellent and make us feel so comfortable and welcome!

What a spectacular experience the Dorchester is. It was such a joy to be reminded of what London is like at its best. The room was so beautiful - bright, uplifting and very spacious. Almost too good - you don’t want to leave. It really is an incredibly beautiful hotel - the service is exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble - very professional. The function I attended in the ballroom was beautifully done. I rarely leave a hotel thinking it was good value and invariably something has irritated me but going to the Dorchester was like going back in time where service is impeccable and the guest is made to feel special. Melissa on front desk has exceptional customer service skills - efficient and resourceful I loved this hotel - I’ve stayed at a couple of others in the Dorchester Collection but this one really is the jewel in his crown as far as luxury and service go.

We recently returned to The Dorchester for our wedding anniversary and once again had a truly wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, warm, attentive, and genuinely personal. What makes The Dorchester so special is not just its beautiful surroundings, but the people who create such memorable experiences for their guests. A special thank you to Sean and Anuar, who both went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration feel incredibly special. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and helped make our stay unforgettable. Also, I don’t have his name but there’s a lovely young Italian guy in The Vesper bar who always goes out of his way to make each evening special. Very much looking forward to returning in August.
