I have stayed at 11 Cadogan Gardens twice now, and it will continue to be my London hub when I visit. If you want the quintessential British experience - a well-appointed, cozy hotel tucked in a neighborhood right out of a movie set, you'll be pleased. The rooms are all carefully appointed, and each one is unique. We had a room in the Chelsea Townhouse with a small kitchen and ample space, including a living area overlooking an ancient weeping Beech tree. The best part, however, was the amiable and gracious staff, who were always present at all times of the day. Sarah in reservations was extraordinary when helping me find the room I needed. Simos, Anatasia, and Alex greeted us morning and night and were so helpful. Hearing their stories and sharing ours is what made 11 Cadogan Gardens and the Chelsea Townhouse such a fabulous experience. Hospitality at its best! You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been loyal for years to Duke’s ( except for one weekend at The Berkeley ), so this was my first stay at Chelsea Townhouse. A friend suggested it both because we like boutique hotels, they had a 3 nights for the price of 2 deal and because we wanted to try a new neighborhood. A serious foot injury I got at Heathrow kept me from exploring Chelsea the way I had hoped or from taking advantage of the close tube stop, but the staff at the hotel and its sister hotel, 11 Cadogan Garden, went so far beyond what I would have expected. I was basically unable to walk and within a few hours, as I’m sitting reading on a bench in the hotel’s beautiful garden, James, the concierge from 11 Cadogan Garden, across the garden, appears with crutches. Then, the lovely gentlemen at Chelsea Townhouses front deck fixed me up with a private doctor and an ex ray all while keeping me supplied with ice for my injured foot. I wouldn’t normally have eaten so many meals in the sweet little restaurant/lounge but with my injury I had to do so - and it was delicious and the service there also as friendly as could be. Also, a very comfortable place to sit and read. When faced with onward travel with two big suitcases, James also arranged for me to consolidate and shipped one of my bags back to my home in the US. Oh, and the rooms are truly lovely. I’ll be loyal to this sweet hotel for ever!

The hotel is lovely. The room was very large and homey. The bathroom is small. Service is very attentive. Special shoutout to waitress Ranjita, who left a lasting impression of their fine service. There were some issues, which got resolved quickly.

We’ve just returned from our second stay at The Chelsea Townhouse in under a month, and it honestly just keeps getting better. The hotel has such a relaxed, welcoming feel — stylish without being showy, and tucked away on a lovely quiet street that’s still close to everything. What really stands out, though, is the staff. They’re warm, thoughtful, and genuinely go out of their way to make you feel at home — not in a forced or scripted way, but with real care. It’s rare to come across a place where you feel so well looked after without any fuss. Both of our stays were memorable for all the right reasons, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again soon. Highly recommend.

For a recently refurbished hotel, this is looking a little bit tired in places already. The stair carpets could do with a clean as there were many stains. The paint work could be touched up in more than a few places. We stayed in the garden suite. We couldn’t open the balcony doors as they were locked, the tables etc were marked. However, it was a lovely big room, bright and airy, and it was nice to look out onto the garden. The bed was super comfortable. The shower was powerful. Our daughter stayed in a ‘cosy double’ room, which ought to be named the cramped and dingy double room (with a brick wall view). Breakfast at £35 a head simply is not worth it. A small slice of dry cake for £7 is too much. Go elsewhere for food, the quality is not to be found here. The location is excellent, super central in a lovely leafy area and a very short walk from Kings Road. The garden is pretty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Common areas were nice, but small.
