The perfect location!!!We go to London at least once a year. This was our first time at this hotel. What a wonderful selection. The location was perfect in every way. In the busiest part of London, yet peaceful and quiet. It is tucked away from the main streets. We are avid theater goers and this hotel is a 10 minute walk to the West End. Green Park is around the corner. The Tube station is nearby. Lots of great restaurants. The staff was absolutely incredible. Service was top notch. The rooms were well appointed.

Excellent hotelstaff!Very friendly athmosphere, nice rooms, superb situated in London. Strongest dry martinis in the world
It is a quintessential London retreat. Dukes Hotel is a century-old St. James's destination where the titled and well-heeled check in to sleuth through designer shops and take tea at Fortnum and Mason. With the Union Jack proudly waving from its entrance, this Leading Small Hotels of the World affiliate has just 90 rooms and suites, classically appointed in traditional British style with modern amenities discreetly placed. Color schemes provide a calming affect and expansive picture windows frame views of Green Park and the street scene of this tony London neighborhood.
Dukes Hotel has a formal dining room where proper British meals are presented in an artful style. The wines, a mix of crisp white and vintage red varietals, are thoughtfully paired with entrées and desserts. The Drawing Room and Conservatory, with courtyard views, are ideal for breakfast or all-day noshing, and feature a lovely afternoon tea with all the traditional accouterments. However it is Dukes Bar that has earned a hip reputation for its classic martinis and sought-after mixologists, who can shake and stir any cocktail in record time. The fitness center is a place to workout and be worked, and offers a selection of spa treatments and personal training options. This urban hideaway's greatest asset though is its stellar location. Nearby is Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square and its abundance of theatrical venues, Knightsbridge where the food halls of Harrods and Harvey Nichols are never-ending, and Sloane Square where trendy Kings Road offers additional shopping opportunities.
