The pair of red brick townhouses that make up The Egerton House Hotel stands on 17th Century land that the alderman of London entrusted to slaves being held by Turkish pirates. A string of colorful characters inhabited the mansions through the decades, and remnants of history remain in each uniquely decorated room. Elaborate padded headboards, brocaded fabrics and original antiques combine to create an ambiance that is both stately and welcoming.

Elegant Hotel in a delightful part of London. We stayed at Egerton House for three nights and enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful. The room was beautifully appointed with comfortable bed, nice bathroom & amenities. The breakfast menu was excellent and drinks of an evening in the bar were very enjoyable. The Barman is very knowledgeable and make great cocktails in particular a very good martini selection.

We stayed on Friday 21st April to celebrate our anniversary. Once again we were spoiled. We had champagne , chocolate dipped strawberries, rose petals and candles in our room, very romantic. The service is impeccable, the breakfast was delicious and the drinks in the bar are always fabulous. Thanks you to Michelle and her team for making it a really special stay

I read the reviews from tripadvisor before I confirmed my booking at Egerton for a 4-night stay. I am coming here for the London marathon and the location is ideal since it's only 2 tube stops from the finish line (Kensington South - St James Park). It's also accessible to other areas with Harrods just a block away, 2 underground lines to choose from. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel since the staff are so nice and helpful, I inconvenient them upon my arrival to return a package to a retailer which I ordered online. They just helped me to make the calls to arrange courier pickup and print out the required doc. I was really pampered after my race as they have prepared a card and present (in my attached photo) to congratulate me finishing the sweet!!! The overall experience at the hotel is spectacular except that you can hear the footstep from upper floors when they walk around the room at night.

My wife and i just returned from a week holiday in London. We normally stay in the mayfair area at a large hotel chain. I decided to go with a trip advisor recommendation. We absolutely loved this hotel. from the moment we arrived, the service was extraordinary. The staff is very welcoming and really made you feel like you were at someone's home. We enjoyed breakfast every morning with a beautiful buffet and a hot meal. Each evening we enjoyed our pot of tea in the bar. Many nice restaurants around and very close to two different tube stations. Rooms were beautiful and well maintained. The only negative is that there is not fitness facility.

My daughter and I planned a special trip to London and were delighted with the accommodations and professionalism of the staff at the Egerton House Hotel. The hotel is on a quiet street yet close to the Tube, V&A, Kensington Palace, and other attractions. I can't say enough about the hotel's staff. I will certainly stay there again.
