About the Hotel

The pair of red brick townhouses that make up The Egerton House Hotel stands on 17^th Century land that the alderman of London entrusted to slaves being held by Turkish pirates. A string of colorful characters inhabited the mansions through the decades, and remnants of history remain in each uniquely decorated room. Elaborate padded headboards, brocaded fabrics and original antiques combine to create an ambiance that is both stately and welcoming.

The Egerton House Hotel was a perfect start to our honeymoon. The service was first class from the moment we stepped through the front door right up until we embarked for the airport transfer. The personal touches really made us feel at home and we loved all of the little treats left for us throughout our stay. The food was exceptional! We’ve never seen eggs with such a rich dark orange yolk and the berries were the best we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back to the Egerton House Hotel.

The hotel ,staff and facilities are totally exceptional. Small yet so personal and everything is just perfect. Location is in quiet location however just minutes from the hustle and bustle of neighbouring Knightsbridge. Beautiful rooms and feels like your own home. Well done
