My husband and I stayed here during a quick getaway. We immediately felt "at home". The staff really took the time to get to know us and made us feel so welcome. The room was luxurious and comfortable. Great amenities/products. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an extra romantic, relaxing time. We love the complimentary candy station right by the front desk! The location is very convenient to what we wanted to do. Great area to walk around! We didn't want to leave and can't wait to return. This is definitely a place we consider our home away from home!

There is a reason why every cab driver we rode with in London knew where the Egerton House Hotel was without giving an address... this quiet unobtrusive hotel on Egerton Terrace not far from Harrod’s is well known! While it has only 26 rooms and a tiny lobby and even smaller bar it has a huge presence. First, and foremost the service is easily six star. Every detail is tracked and accounted for... you ask for something and they have already thought of it. Before we arrived they sent us a note asking about preferences, special considerations etc. all were taken care of before we arrived. We would mention specific staff but we would have to list everyone we came in contact with! Front Desk (you really get a sense it really is their pleasure to help you), Concierge, Butler, Waiter, Chef, Maids, and on and on! So here are some of the fabulous and impeccable service examples: breakfast came to our room and I wasn’t quite ready so I asked them to leave it outside the door... 10 minutes later when I did open the door the young man was still there holding this heavy silver tray loaded with my wonderful still hot food waiting patiently for me! The front desk is like a sophisticated air traffic control system carefully receiving and sending information and suggestions out to any request with superior results, the Concierge Manger set up an excellent personal tour of London for us in minutes and gave us numerous leads of places to go to hunt for a particular item I was looking for... the rooms were very clean and straightened twice a day, the bed was excellent as well as the bedding, towels were huge, robes highest quality, chose your paper on line or in person, they did a wonderful surprise for our tenth anniversary including rose petals and candles etc when we returned from seeing a musical, the bar tender is known throughout London for his drinks, and formal tea in their living room was excellent and very relaxing... they welcome in and walk you out making sure you and all your luggage gets off safely. Let me just say they do all this quietly and unobtrusively. I saw few people in the lobby and heard no hotel noises. I asked if anyone else was in the hotel and they said yes the were full! The rooms are well equipped and set up perfectly. This hotel is part of the Red Carnation group which I am now searching for when we travel. We would recommend this hotel to anyone with no hesitation. Rolanda and Brian Maine USA

We stayed there for two nights and it was a pleasant experience. The property, like a lot of boutique hotels in London, is small, but with a lot of characters. It’s a bit on the expensive side. The staff is nice by London standard and the highlight is the bar. The bar tender (originally from Tunisia sorry I cannot recall his name) is a wizard of martinis and he whipped up such a wonderful concoction that even I wasn’t a fan of martini in general I was impressed. He’s the Top.

Visited the Egerton House Hotel for only 2 days and wished it had been longer... the most welcoming stay we have ever had at any hotel! It felt as though we were staying with dear friends - all staff and the General Manager were helpful, engaging and could not do enough for us and all guests. The hotel itself is lovely and luxurious, beautifully and warmly decorated and situated in a perfect area just off a main street - near Harrods and the Victoria & Albert Museum. We stayed in the newly renovated "blue room" which was beautiful. Our room was soundproof - always a concern when we travel. During our short visit, we had afternoon tea and attended a martini class - both of which were so much fun and the drink and food delicious. In addition, there are always snacks and water available to everyone should you ever go hungry. We stayed at both the Ritz London and the Egerton during our visit... and prior to arrival and during the planning stage of our trip, I received robust answers to my emails and information about our stay almost instantly from Egerton which I knew meant the staff would be so very customer focused and how right I was! We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we return to London and we hopefully will be able to visit other properties that are owned by The Red Carnation Hotel Collection. To us, the properties we stay at are extremely important in our vacation planning... and we often visit destinations simply based on the hotel.
