The pair of red brick townhouses that make up The Egerton House Hotel stands on 17th Century land that the alderman of London entrusted to slaves being held by Turkish pirates. A string of colorful characters inhabited the mansions through the decades, and remnants of history remain in each uniquely decorated room. Elaborate padded headboards, brocaded fabrics and original antiques combine to create an ambiance that is both stately and welcoming.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. After travelling all around the world, all 7 continents and to many 5* properties, I can confidently say we have never received such service as we did at Egerton House. The staff goes OVER THE TOP with service and attention to detail. The Victoria and Albert suite was incredible with the private garden terrace. The martinis in the bar were out of this world. We cannot wait to return and will only stay here. The location is unmatched if you value true luxury. A walk to Harrods, and every luxury boutique you could imagine. See you soon

From the moment of my arrival at Egerton House Hotel, I felt warmly welcomed. Every Reception Staff member - Rosie, Mark, Jacques, Sarah & Angel - is highly professional, efficient and friendly. In the Bar, Gianfranco greeted me warmly and ensured my comfort. In the Breakfast Room, Tunde was so friendly and we had a wonderful conversation about her home country. My room was well-appointed and so comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Egerton House Hotel, and look forward to a return visit in the near future.

A truly wonderful afternoon tea in a very special hotel. Impeccable, professional and friendly service, beautifully prepared afternoon tea delights in relaxed, elegant surroundings. Thoroughly recommend afternoon tea here especially if you have a dog as they are genuinely dog friendly and also provide a lovely afternoon tea for dogs with a dog friendly selection of tasty morsels, they even have their own ‘cake’ stand! Thank you Eggerton House for a thoroughly delightful and relaxing afternoon, we will be back!
