The pair of red brick townhouses that make up The Egerton House Hotel stands on 17th Century land that the alderman of London entrusted to slaves being held by Turkish pirates. A string of colorful characters inhabited the mansions through the decades, and remnants of history remain in each uniquely decorated room. Elaborate padded headboards, brocaded fabrics and original antiques combine to create an ambiance that is both stately and welcoming.

We loved everything about this hotel! The location was perfect and made it easy to get around London. Our room was very comfortable and spacious enough for two people. The food was superb, breakfast and room service. The staff was always very kind and completely spoiled us by their service, assistance, and care with which they made sure we had a comfortable stay. Benjamin, Jacques, Angel, and Tessa to name just a few, were particularly attentive to us, though the whole staff was amazing. My wife and I were sad to leave and look forward to the opportunity to stay again.

I enjoyed everything about my stay at Egerton from the moment I walked through the front doors and was immediately accommodated even though I arrived early. Each and every staff member made my stay exceptional. The wait staff in the restaurant were obviously dedicated to their craft as each meal served was excellent and served with great attention to detail whether served in my room or in the dining room. The concierge and their staff met my every need to the best of their abilities-offering with my entertainment ideas, helping me move when there was a plumbing issue with my original room, offerings of delicious snacks throughout the day, on and on. The room staff was also so professional and attentive in performing their duties. I loved visiting with them during the 'turn-downs' while recognizing their need to tend to their duties. I should single out how impressed I was when the hotel ensured I was moved out of my original room due to a plumbing issue. I offered to stay in the room but the staff wanted to ensure my satisfaction by moving me. So impressive. The quality of service was top notch. And, as I stayed in two rooms, I can vouch their room accommodations are extraordinary and very inviting.

We had the best experience in hospitality by the amazing staff. Beyond their professionalism, the team’s kindness and accommodating nature made us feel completely at home. Every interaction was filled with a positive energy that was contagious. They didn't just provide a service; they made our accommodation experience feel special and unforgettable. This staff doesn't just meet expectations—they shatter them.

For my husband's birthday we spent 3 nights at The Egerton House Hotel and loved it. We have stayed at the sister Hotel, The Milestones, on a few occasions so were accustomed to Red Carnation excellent service and accommodation. Our expectations were not only met but exceeded. The attention to detail and guest requirements was exceptional. We will be back!
