About the Hotel
The pair of red brick townhouses that make up The Egerton House Hotel stands on 17th Century land that the alderman of London entrusted to slaves being held by Turkish pirates. A string of colorful characters inhabited the mansions through the decades, and remnants of history remain in each uniquely decorated room. Elaborate padded headboards, brocaded fabrics and original antiques combine to create an ambiance that is both stately and welcoming.

Our stay at Egerton House Hotel was simply perfect — and then some. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and an attention to detail that truly sets this hotel apart. The service was impeccable; the staff were both discreet and genuinely attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was elegant, comfortable, and spotless, with beautiful touches that created a luxurious yet homely atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable — we slept better than we have in a long time. Thoughtful little details throughout the room made the experience even more special. Breakfast was outstanding, featuring high-quality ingredients and perfectly prepared dishes. The location is also ideal — peaceful and charming, yet within easy reach of everything London has to offer. Egerton House Hotel delivers luxury at its most personal and refined. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and are already looking forward to returning. Highly, highly recommended!

Perfect stay
Egerton is a gem. Do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel at least once. It is charming in every sense: décor is quaint and lovely, breakfast is generous, staff is friendly and helpful. The bar is also really good, with a great dry martini. Location is practical, with two underground stations nearby, and perfect to visit Victoria and Albert and Harrods.

The Best of the Best!
The Egerton House Hotel is our home away from home in London. We have stayed at this remarkable property many times over the years. It never disappoints ... in fact I think it just gets better and better! Its location is perfect and the ambience of the hotel wraps its arms around you after a busy day in London. But its people are what makes it really special adding to its overall charm with their sincere attention to meeting your needs. Love it!

My favourite hotel in London. Very personal with an attention to detail. In a perfect location for everything you need, but what makes it so special is the staff. From the front desk to the house keeping, everyone is truly professional, helpful and friendly. They are a credit to the company.
