The Egerton House Hotel

This is simply a wonderful place to stay in London. The location is perfect, with museums and shopping on the doorstep. The rooms are incredibly comfortable with everything you could ask for and more, including fresh fruit and homemade shortbread. However, it is the staff who really make this a home from home. Every member of the team at Egerton House is welcoming, friendly and genuinely warm; nothing is too much trouble for them. I’m just about to book another visit - we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Our stay at the Egerton House Hotel was fantastic! We enjoyed exceptional hospitality, impeccable style, superb comfort and every convenience - all supported by happy, attentive and engaging staff who clearly love their jobs in this elegant boutique hotel.  The whole experience was a real pleasure: amazing sleep, fabulous breakfasts and a relaxing "home from home" environment. Our room was wonderful: excellent bed, pillows and linen, beautiful marble bathroom, comfy sofa, big TV, lovely selection of coffee table art books, and divine "goodnight" chocolate brownies. The drawing room was truly welcoming, offering an elegant but relaxed and unstuffy place to pause - and the signature Martinis in the small bar must be tried to be believed! Burger and chips from the bar menu stand out as the best we've ever had. The location of Egerton House in the heart of Knightsbridge is ideal, a stone's throw from Harrods and from the V&A and other world-class museums; it is also a perfect base for concerts and events at the Royal Albert Hall and for visiting Kensington Palace and Gardens. Our attendance at the BBC Prom concerts this year was made extra special and very memorable by staying in this delightful hotel. Highly, highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely lovely boutique hotel in an equally lovely location. The staff was lovely, especially Jacques! The room was sumptuous, comfortable, cool and clean - a respite from 35-degree weather. As a lovely old building, the floors were a bit creaky, which unfortunately meant noise from the couple upstairs, to put it delicately.

This boutique hotel was a delightful choice for our first trip to London. The staff could not have been more helpful. Everyone was so nice and the service was top notch. The location was great for us and we were able to walk to many nearby shops and restaurants as well as Hyde Park and the Oratory. Brompton Road was a block away which was convenient but the location of the hotel was very quiet in contrast. The proximity to Harrod's was a plus in my wife's eyes. The rooms were well appointed, super clean and very quiet. It seemed as if we were the only ones on our floor but I know the hotel was likely full, since Wimbledon was going on during that time. It's pricey, but so is London in general. I wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back!

Welcoming and so comfortable. Exceptional service and attention to detail. Lots of special touches . We can’t wait to go back.
