About the Hotel
The pair of red brick townhouses that make up The Egerton House Hotel stands on 17th Century land that the alderman of London entrusted to slaves being held by Turkish pirates. A string of colorful characters inhabited the mansions through the decades, and remnants of history remain in each uniquely decorated room. Elaborate padded headboards, brocaded fabrics and original antiques combine to create an ambiance that is both stately and welcoming.

Amazing hotel

Extraordinary Experience
By far the best hotel experience I have ever had and I have stayed in many 5 star hotels. The staff, the location, the atmosphere are beyond 5 star. They make you feel as comfortable as if you’re in your own home. They learn your name and remember your unique quirks. They are personable and attentive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone!

Best Staff in London!
The Egerton House Hotel is a really special experience. The boutique hotel is beautifully decorated - the drawing room blends vintage and modern in a way that caters to both afternoon tea and evening cocktails. The rooms are clean and stylish. But the thing that really makes this hotel special are the people. Not just professional - every single person on staff is friendly in a very genuine way. The breakfast crew (from supervisor to server) was particularly outstanding. Would 100% recommend!!!

Martini masterclass
Highly recommend the Martini masterclass Charlie was such a great barman. The history behind the martini was very interesting not to mention his steady hand allowing us to experience the ‘Egerton slurp!’

Everything We Wanted and More
Have read about the Egerton House Hotel for years and were so glad to finally be able to go there. The hotel is on a quiet side street but very well located when it comes to pubs, restaurants, public transportation and Harrods. The service from the entire staff was wonderful--especially Jacques and Clea, the concierges. They were professional, attentive, patient with all our questions and very kind going out of their way to be sure we were well taken care of and happy. Their pub and restaurant recommendations were spot on. Also, the staff in the breakfast room, especially the woman from Hungary were great. We are not morning people but they and the delicious breakfasts made getting up a pleasure. The evening bartenders were fantastic as well. If you are looking for a place to be pampered, this is it. The room--while a bit small--was well designed and comfortable and the bathroom was just beautiful with some great accoutrements. Thanks to all for a wonderful stay and can't wait to return.
