We are lucky enough to have stayed at the Goring many times over the years and with the announcement of the Goring's dining room refurbishment having been completed, it seemed like a good reason to celebrate our anniversary with an overnight stay and dinner! The hotel is still an oasis of calm in a hectic part of London and from the moment we arrived the level of service was fabulous. Every member of staff that we encountered was friendly, helpful and efficient. We had a garden room and it is important to note that none of the rooms are particularly large but they are very comfortable. The refurbished dining room is very elegant. There are some amusing images hidden in the wallpaper such as a monkey coming out of a cake! Worth trying to spot them all. Dinner was excellent. Fantastic food and service. We had the beef wellington which was magnificent! A stay at the Goring is not cheap but it is worth every penny!

My wife and I had an afternoon tea here and it was our first time at The Goring. We were very impressed. The food and drinks were very good and extremely well presented. We thought the staff were excellent, the doorman, the reception and all the waiters that served us, were welcoming, attentive and appeared to be happy at their work. The atmosphere in the conservatory where afternoon teas are taken was very good and we had a lovely time. Not cheap but for a treat, an afternoon tea here is thoroughly recommended.

A beautiful and never boring hotel. I love to sit, listen and relax on a magical night. Their service is wonderful and the sweets are delicious. I always stay in it and visit it. Its location. I love it. The hotel of imagination and memories. 🌹🌹

Three of us decided to go for a coffee at the hotel just because of the history of the hotel and the fact Kate Middleton stayed there before her wedding day. We were treated so kindly and were most welcome even though we just stopped by for a coffee. If you are ever wondering around London you must visit The Goring Hotel.

The Goring restaurant is a haven of correct behaviour and proper puddings.

Great people make great hotels and The Goring has great people in abundance. The Goring family extends well beyond George Goring and his children: staff and guests feel that they belong too. As the personal touch become rarer in the travel business, The Goring becomes more special.

Truly great hotels like The Goring don’t just inherit a great reputation, they know they have to earn it every day. Staff at The Goring are always friendly, willing and efficient and whether you are there for breakfast, dinner or a business meeting the service is always superb.

The only reason the members of Heartaches C.C. play cricket in the summer is that it qualifies them for the Annual Christmas Lunch at The Goring.

It is more than the cosseting, more than the sybarism, more than the wonderful use of British produce, and their own blend of tea, it’s when I stay at The Goring I feel I’ve come home.

From the moment I checked in at The Goring I knew I was going to be pampered. Radiating charm and tranquility, it resembles a country hotel in the midst of a bustling city. The food is scrumptious, the service caring and impeccable and humour toujours a la carte! To stay anywhere else in London is inconceivable to - it would be like snubbing a favourite nanny.
