Three of us decided to go for a coffee at the hotel just because of the history of the hotel and the fact Kate Middleton stayed there before her wedding day. We were treated so kindly and were most welcome even though we just stopped by for a coffee. If you are ever wondering around London you must visit The Goring Hotel.

We have just returned home from London and spent 10 days at the Goring in Belgravia. What an absolute pleasure. The hotel is perfectly positioned, the ambiance is refined and stylish, and the service and facilities are everything that you would expect from a hotel in this league. A special mention must be made of the staff, all of them from the doormen to reception to the lounge and housekeeping. Outstanding! We'll be back.

We stayed on the occasion our 30th wedding anniversary and from the moment we reached the front door we we were treated so special. This is a wonderful hotel, beautiful interiors, great rooms and exceptional staff. An incredible experience throughout. Breakfast is also great. This is one of our favourite places.

What a beautiful setting, we sat in the veranda overlooking the garden . It was my Mums birthday and I booked afternoon tea for us both and we’re not disappointed. From the cups of tea to the sandwiches and cakes it was just delicious. They even had a card for my Mum to celebrate her special day. Staff went above and beyond and were sooo lovely Would love to go again, it was beautiful

We had previously stayed at this elegant hotel on a previous visit to London and it was wonderful to see that it was truly a delight to visit once more. Close to Buckingham Palace this is an historic place where you envision the finest of London has to offer. "Ship shape and Bristol fashion" the elegance makers for a memorable stay. The dining facilities are top tier and the bar makes one feel like Winston Churchill could walk in any minute, as he no doubt had! The decor is so well appointed and service is impeccable. From the Concierge, John, to the support staff it has all the bearings of a grand establishment that seems to bring historic London to the forefront.

The Goring restaurant is a haven of correct behaviour and proper puddings.

Great people make great hotels and The Goring has great people in abundance. The Goring family extends well beyond George Goring and his children: staff and guests feel that they belong too. As the personal touch become rarer in the travel business, The Goring becomes more special.

Truly great hotels like The Goring don’t just inherit a great reputation, they know they have to earn it every day. Staff at The Goring are always friendly, willing and efficient and whether you are there for breakfast, dinner or a business meeting the service is always superb.

The only reason the members of Heartaches C.C. play cricket in the summer is that it qualifies them for the Annual Christmas Lunch at The Goring.

It is more than the cosseting, more than the sybarism, more than the wonderful use of British produce, and their own blend of tea, it’s when I stay at The Goring I feel I’ve come home.

From the moment I checked in at The Goring I knew I was going to be pampered. Radiating charm and tranquility, it resembles a country hotel in the midst of a bustling city. The food is scrumptious, the service caring and impeccable and humour toujours a la carte! To stay anywhere else in London is inconceivable to - it would be like snubbing a favourite nanny.
