Excellent experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We only stayed here for one night in between flights but it was very pleasant. We had one the larger King rooms which was consistent with the size of other standard rooms we've had in London. While we were a little disappointed with the dated decor, we enjoyed the very comfortable bed and nice sheets, as well as the Occitane products, slippers, and robe. In addition, room service came very promptly with a nice tea service and soup. One of the two highlights of the stay was the buffet breakfast, for which we received a small discount. The sunroom seating area was lovely and the buffet delicious with a very nice assortment of hot and cold items, delicious fruit (perfectly ripened kiwi, for example) and baked goodies -- including dairy free and gluten free items which I greatly appreciated! Tannin our server was delightful and attentive. Also, one of the front desk employees helped us with our luggage to the corner for our Uber pickup, and even ran upstairs to retrieve the jacket I had forgotten. Excellent customer service!

Overall great hotel and location in London

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We had an amazing stay at the Hotel Xenia. The staff was incredible. So helpful, pleasant and professional. We were lucky to get upgraded to an absolutely amazing suite. The breakfast buffet was also quite amazing. The location is also great. Very walkable to the Natural History and V & A museums. Plenty of good restaurants in the area, and convenient to central London and Heathrow via the Underground.

Great Hotel

Highly recommend this hotel. Great location and not far from a couple tube stations. Breakfast was excellent with fresh offerings. I can’t say enough good things about the customer service. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and went out of their way to try and help us during our visit. We already booked another stay at the hotel later in the year.

Poor room size and high price point

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Smallest room and en-suite I have experienced across the whole Marriott Bonvoy group. Price point high with ridiculously small room. Complained to staff given Bonvoy loyalty and membership status but no action taken. Staff were polite and diligent but that’s their job. I wouldn’t say they were exceptional but worked hard to provide good service. At £365 per night this was not a good experience. Location very good. Not on my return list

Small facilitoes, great staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

This is a nice hotel with updated facilities and a wonderful location in Kensington. The rooms are painfully small, but the magic of this place is in its staff. In particular, enter the breakfast manager and his team, a loquacious Italian mâitre able to make all guests feel welcomed and at home. It was a rainy weekend, but we sure started our day with a boost of energy!
