This is my 4th stay at the Hotel. Check-in was quite pleasant and rather fast. Room granted was exactly as requested. The mini bar I used for soft drinks only, which was limited to 2 bottles of coke, that were never re-filled during our 6-night stay! We had to call asking for refills delivered tot he room. Furthermore, our extension for a late checkout to 4:00 PM was rejected, and counter-offered for 2 PM, which we accepted and respected the decision. However, upon checkout, we reviewed the bill, and noticed the Mini Bar consumption were never charged. We voluntarily asked for it to be added, and we got billed GBP 30 for it - even though other hotels would just drop it and other guests won't even mention it - not us. We stored the luggage as we made it out by 01:30 PM and came back around 05:00 PM to pickup our stored luggage and a TAXI to head to the airport. Since we no longer have our rooms, we asked for a spot where we could do the 5-minute prayers. We were immediately told that there is no space. We mentioned that you must be having on upper floors a disserted space, lounges, ,meeting rooms, etc. We were told "No" without hesitation. The irony is when we arrived tot he business lounge of Terminal 5, we asked if there was a space to do the prayers, and the service clerk to the Showers gladly pulled a praying MAT from the closet, and escorted us to an Area near the Kids Playing Room, and showed us the Qibla Direction!! She received a nice tip from us for this gesture, even though when we asked if she was Moslem, she mentioned she's Buddhist from Thailand.

Everything about this hotel has been thought about in meticulous detail. From check in where my bags were taken and I was personally shown to my room where my bags arrived seconds later, to the birthday cake that arrived for my partner (after racking my brains for ages I realised I had mentioned it in passing at check in and they had gone to all that trouble for him - they even wrote him a card!). The rooms have everything you would ever need - a coffee machine, complimentary ear plugs, great toiletries, hair dryer, iron, umbrella, robes, slippers etc. and there is an excellent night time turn down service where soothing music is left on and lavender pillow spray is left on your bed to aid a good sleep. We didn't eat at the hotel, but we did head to the Rib Room for some pre-dinner cocktails which, although expensive, were delicious (and blew your head off, you only need one or two!). There were staff handing out canapes and nibbles all the while which was a really nice touch. It's not cheap to stay at this hotel, but I have stayed at a lot of 5*s and never really wanted to return. I would ALWAYS return back to the Jumeirah Carlton Tower, it was just perfect.

I stayed here with work for 2 nights and it was fantastic. The staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful and the attention to detail in my room made the trip all the more special. The view from my room on the 17th floor across London just made the night!

Comfortable, relaxed luxury. Attentive staff who are "present" but also give space. Staff were egalitarian-- helpful to everyone, regardless of who they are. Great food, both at the Chinoiserie (Eggs benedict and pancakes) and the Rib Room (Sushi grade Tuna really was; Beef excellent). Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds.

It’s always wonderful staying at this hotel in December. From the moment we get out of the car they all recognise us and welcome us back. We arrange flowers champagne and chocolates on our arrival. The white roses are always the finest! I’d advise to book well in advance at peak times. Our friends tried to stay at the same hotel and left it late to book and the hotel was full, so they stayed nearby. They have an iPad to order room service etc so no need for paper menus anymore which is nice. I left an item there and they kindly couriered it back to me which I’m very thankful for. Great location, wonderful staff and lovely atmosphere. Looking forward to another stay!
