Reviews for Jumeirah Carlton Tower

House keeping are thieves

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I had an insecure stay, as 200 pounds went missing from my suitcase. I wouldn’t stay there again and won’t recommend the hotel to any of my friends or relatives. Your stuff are not safe.

Unfortunately our stay was un pleasant The management there is not helpful they managed to withdraw double payment and i didn’t receive my money back and they also ignored , the main headquarters should really pay attention to what is happening there .

its average if your just trying to enjoy the hotel, a mixed bag of experiences. Exceptional in parts lacking in others.

My stays at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower have been a blend of highs and lows, marking it as a hotel of contrast in my experiences. The hotel itself boasts commendable qualities—its staff's general warmth and the exemplary service provided by the concierge, particularly Mohammad, stand out. His consistent compliments and assistance with luggage upon arrival have always made me feel welcomed. Furthermore, the hotel serves as a melting pot, reminiscent of the Middle East, making each visit intriguing due to the vibrant crowds it attracts I love it so much. The culinary offerings are notable, with the food generally being of great quality. This aspect, among others, earmarks the Jumeirah Carlton Tower as my favorite hotel. However, it's disheartening that dining experiences have recurrently been marred by service inconsistencies. On one occasion, a significant delay in our order, seemingly forgotten, was not mitigated with the courtesy of drinks or snacks. In another instance, a noticeable discrepancy in the service level emerged when I received fewer pieces of baklava than is customary, hinting at unequal treatment because it's normally like 5 or so but I only received 3. This suspicion was further confirmed during a separate visit where an order discrepancy led to an acknowledgment only after I conversed in Arabic, subsequently altering the service quality dramatically. when I asked for hot mezzah im meant to get a few things included but they went as I looked over at the others they had a lot included and I spoke to the man next to my table in arabic and said is that extra he said no its included what did I order, I said same thing. I asked the waiter I think he was the manager because he was having frequent conversations with a few tables he said sorry (I still dont think I got the full package still ) then made a comment about how he didn't know I spoke arabic and because I spoke arabic to him I was then being treated extremely well for some reason which was so random. A particularly disconcerting incident involved being awakened and treated disgustingly by security while resting in a secluded hotel corridor ( there is a spot upstairs in the corridors where you can sit its kind of excluded from the common hallways and such its not easy to find you'll only know about this place gif you stay there often ) , an ordeal that ended without an apology even after verifying my guest status. Despite these encounters, my fondness for the hotel’s ambiance and the exceptional instances of hospitality cannot be overshadowed. Yet, when reflecting on the price point in light of these inconsistent experiences, I find it increasingly challenging to reconcile the cost with the value received. The Jumeirah Carlton Tower, with its exceptional potential and moments of true hospitality brilliance, leaves me in a quandary—appreciative of its merits but equally cautious of its lapses, they sure do know how to bring me back lol.

Good food and amazing service by Anwar

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

The welcoming was not nice because of the host, I would’ve left but my colleague was joining me in the hotel restaurant. The experience completely shifted when the two Moroccan guys took care of us. Anwar and Ayoub transported us to Morocco, very knowledgeable of the food menu, their suggestions were very tasty, their service is worth a 7 star hotel, very nice gentlemen with a friendly and warm service. You can go for the food or the desert selection but definitely ask for Anwar and Ayoub for a proper high end service. Thank you gentlemen for that amazing service.

Average stay for a "Deluxe room"

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

The room was advertised as "Deluxe", but was cramped for a deluxe room. Not much room to move around except hallway. Bathroom was small, with showering leaking water into the bathroom. Wash-pipe kept falling on the floor. Wi-fi was not very good. Positive: Hotel and rooms smelled lovely
