Reviews for Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel
Having booked in advance we had high expectations of our visit to the Lowndes restaurant. Both me and my partner work in the restaurant and hospitality industry and therefore greatly enjoy dinning out when the opportunity arises. It has to be said our first impression was not good at all, the older gentleman running front of house looked at us on arrival with what can only be described as a condescending look perhaps due to our age. He then insisted on checking that we had booked. This was to be a running theme during our evening however determined not to let this sour our meal we ordered scallops and two Parpadelle which was not without its difficulties. Our service was then taken over by a very personable waiter by the name of Rihards who did a great job looking after our table for the rest of service. When the food arrived it was certainly worth the 40 minute wait, each constituent of the meal added it’s own distinct flavour to the dish. The mushrooms and chestnuts combined beautifully with the herb butter that coated the homemade pasta and was a delight to eat. The scallops were cooked to perfection and equally delicious, both were generous portions but still left us wanting more! Compliments to the chef! Also a shout out to the doorman who assisted us when leaving.
We had a nice executive suite on the 6 th floor with a living room bedrooms and dressing room . The hotel location is brilliant moments walk from anywhere in Knightsbridge or Chelsea . Staff are excellent and it’s a well run hotel .

Just spent the night at jumeirah lowndes hotel. Really lovely boutique hotel very close to Sloane street and harrods. Staff were very welcoming and professional. Room was very comfortable. Only small issue was the bijou bathroom and the shower head being very close to the wall so difficult to get underneath. Breakfast was delicious. Good variety in offer both continental and cooked selection. Special mention to our waiter Levan who was excellent and very attentative and suggesting we try their specialty sausages. Really recommend a stay here.

Staff are very welcoming, positive and always smiling. Housekeeping service is very fast. Bathroom amenities are luxurious. Rooms are clean and well furnished. Bed is very comfortable. TV has variety of global channels. In room dining menu has plenty of choices. Food is delicious. Can't thank them enough for making our vacation! I recommend this hotel to all
I stayed at the Jumeirah Lowndes with my Partner this November before heading onwards on our journey to Belgium. We arrived in the evening and were greeted very warmly on arrival and checked in promptly. We were introduced to our spacious suite with generous space and amenities to suit our needs. After running a warm bath we were able to relax on the sofa before preparing for our day ahead. The next morning, room service was great - having decided to have our breakfast in the room in order to give ourselves more time to get ready for the day. The staff were happy to cater for this and arrived promptly at our requested time. Staff here are ever-so friendly and approachable at all times and the location of this hotel was perfect for arriving at Victoria - just a short walk away through safe, quiet neighbourhoods and just a 5 minute walk to Kensington high street. I will most definitely return for shopping trip or seeing the sights of London as the location of the hotel offers a little slice of luxury in a perfect location where everything is within reach! Absolutely delightful and would highly recommend to the traveller/visitor in London.
