My stay was pleasant. The highlights of the hotel were:- - Public areas are stunning for example. Reception, Winter Garden and the rear entrance - Staff are very professional Low points - Other parts of hotel seems aged - Rooms are comfortable but showing their age - Breakfast at Winter Garden is very pricey Location was good, less than 10 min walk to several tube stations. Which gives you good access to most of London.

Always been a big fan, beautiful setting, good food, good service - it has been my favourite hotel in London for many years. That's why I am sad to report that things have changed. During my last few visits I have noticed the following 2 major problems: The breakfast staff strategy is terrible. During the week they are understaffed because there is no hot food buffet anymore so a skeletal crew overrun by hot food orders in the kitchen forget to ask you the basics like toast / coffee etc. On the weekend there is a hot food buffet so they suddenly become over staffed which results in them nagging you to clear your plates. I was asked 4 times today if I had finished while I was clearly eating. I was like - dude are you blind?! The major issue is The Landmark's willingness to disturb their guests at night with loud functions that run on until 1am. Then the people responsible for clearing away chairs and DJ equipment will gladly bang about until 3am. Due to this I had to move rooms twice having gotten no sleep for the first two nights of my stay. To be fair, they were quick to find solutions each time and source new rooms but those rooms should never have been let with such loud parties going on below. Which is it Landmark - are you an awesome hotel or an awesome party venue because you quite simply can't be both. I am so pleased to be home now where I can finally get some rest. I've spent thousands with you this weekend and come away knackered. Not fair. I need to find a new hotel :(

This is my favourite hotel in London. Not the most convenient for shopping but transport links are good. The facilities are superb. I was warned I may find the room noisy because of a party at the hotel but it was practically undetectable, which highlights how much the staff care about ones experience at the hotel.

Went up for a celebratory 3 day weekend, booked months in advance and double checked a few weeks before via email that we could still use the cap park on arrival. We have been using this hotel for over 10 years. On arrival it was total chaos, people everywhere, they told us the car park was full. No help to get the luggage from the car or park the car - Marylebone road was gridlocked. The staff just ignored us, they were hopeless and left us feeling like we did not matter. Anyway, given the situation we requested the duty manager speak to us but sadly he was no help, we were clearly of no consequence to their operation. Hence, we had another 3.5 hour drive home, no celebration weekend for us.

Marylebone is not usually on my places to visit list. I wanted a restaurant near the mainline station. It turned out to be a very good choice. The hotel is huge but the restaurant was small enough to feel cosy. The seating was different. The tables for 4 were very relaxed. Staff were excellent and the food first class. I had squid followed by lamb. Drinks were expensive Ā£11 for a glass of Merlot is a bit strong. Overall a good find which I shall use again.
