Lovely Afternoon Tea
Our welcome as we walked through the door made us feel special guests. The staff were professional but friendly and very helpful. When we checked in for our Afternoon Tea, we were given a choice of where to sit and the area is stunning. The attentiveness was perfect with the team getting the balance just right. We were offered ‘top ups’ of each level (sandwiches, scones and cakes) but we had a few extra sandwiches and didn’t have room for extra. We brought the cakes home as everything was so filling. The scones also had the added twist of having a chocolate ganache in addition to the traditional jam and clotted cream. All of them were delicious. The infusion options (I can’t drink tea) were delicious and different to afternoon tea options at other hotels. The Turkish Apple and the Orange ones were absolutely amazing. We headed to the Champagne Bar upstairs after our tea and looks down on the dining area, giving a different viewpoint of the setting and I definitely recommend going up there to see it. We go for Afternoon Tea twice a year in hotels around London and we both said that we want to return. A special shout-out to Helmi and Louis who both added a little extra in the service.

Amazing Atmosphere

Afternoon tea for my birthday
My mother and I went for my birthday last month - April 10th. It was our second time there and once again the service was great! We were running quite late but thankfully Helmi was very accommodating! Rafaela was lovely too! The whole staff were incredible, the vibe was lovely and the afternoon tea experience was everything! Next time my mother and I will be back for the jazz nights like Helmi recommended! Thank you for making my birthday special!

Had a lovely afternoon tea experience at the landmark hotel. The winter garden where the tea is held is beautiful with sky high ceilings. Louis took care of us with impeccable service. Refillable tea sandwiches and cakes and pastries was amazing with delicious tea selection.

A truly exceptional stay at a wonderful hotel. We had afternoon tea with friends for my birthday. It has created a beautiful memory. The staff are so calm and welcoming and just want you to be delighted. I will go back whenever I can.
