The Landmark London

Admittedly a very nice hotel but sadly with some incompetent staff at the front desk. We arrived and were informed that our room wasn’t ready, which was fine but some of our friends in the same party room was ready, so we left our bags with them. Upon returning to the hotel at 10:30pm we were given a room which was the same price as our friends but not to the same level. When we questioned this we were met with a wall of silence, no explanation given. I then returned to reception to request a second key card, unfortunately no-one was present at the desk for several minutes. It then took at least 5 minutes to produce a second key card which led to us missing out further on time with our friends in the bar. After eventually enjoying a few drinks in the bar we went up to our room at 00:45 and rather infuriatingly the second key card didn’t work!! Not only that but at breakfast the next morning the staff tried to charge our friends for breakfast which was included in their price. An apology was reluctantly drawn out of them for this mistake too. No apology or discount was offered towards our experience which had some similarities to our first stay there. Such a shame as it could and should be a special place to stay!

We stayed here for the night before our wedding and our wedding night. What an incredible hotel! They helped us so much, we were given a stunning room on a high floor with a great atrium view. We were helped with makeup chairs and full length mirror for the bridesmaids to get ready. The housekeeping staff set the room up on our wedding day with really thoughtful romatic decorations and left a celebration cake. The front desk stored wedding flowers in the fridge to keep them fresh. They also stored wedding food in there after the wedding so guests could take it home. All in all the Landmark really turned up for us when we needed it and some. I am incredibly grateful to you all. It is also has a stunning atrium, is incredibly well located and serves an amazing breakfast!

The afternoon tea at the landmark hotel was exceptional. Top service from Kostas and Mihai! Attentive to detail and taking care of all our requests. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is lovely and the Winter Garden restaurant was delightful for a lunchtime business meeting, but the experience was ruined by an aggressively nasty black-suited male staff member who felt like I owed him a full conversation, and lectured me at length - in front of colleagues! - about being “impolite” and “too busy to have a conversation.” We were all appalled by his behavior towards a guest. I did notify the hotel about the incident.

Had a great time in a nice atmosphere with my husband for our anniversary. Kostas, our waiter, checked in frequently and knew our needs before we had to ask. Highly recommend
