What a pleasure, we arrived at this Hotel late evening, the concierge and check in staff were on top off their game, giving us a speedy check in. We were immediately shown to our room by Patrick explaining where everything within the Hotel was, He then made a reservation for us in one off the Hotel restaurants (Bar Boulud), which was off course very nice. This Hotel staff, the location and the overall experience of staying at this hotel really made our weekend very special, would recommend very highly.

Stayed here for one night at the beginning of December in a Mandarin room. Room was very spacious and nicely appointed. We were right on the front, next to the flags and the double glazing was sufficient enough for the road noise not to cause any disturbance. Service in their bar was excellent with an asian gentlemen (apologies I have forgotten his name) showing everyone how it was done, excellent service, please commend him. We also used their house car to take us to dinner on the Friday night (brand new Bentley Flying Spur), a nice touch. The hotel is having refurbishment work done but it is done in such a way that it does not disturb you. My only critique is that I expected a larger bathroom at the price point (£1,000 per night). We will return.

I stayed at this hotel 10+ years ago and was a bit unsure of what to expect. I was blown away by the tremendous improvements -physically and service wise. From my arrival to departure, the experience was excellent. Staff were considerate, polished and friendly. Especially impressed with dinner at Cafe Boulud, breakfast in the Rosebery Room and François the Concierge. The hotel is under renovation -and other than certain views of the exterior work, I hardly noticed. I will definitely return

One of the best places for a pornstar martini! The bar has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Very impressive and a good location in Knightsbridge. Easy waking distance to Harrods and other high end shops. The Christmas decorations and very impressive too.

High tea here is a pleasant experience, but it’s nothing too special. You’re not attended to as much in the Mandarin London as you are at other hotel ‘high tea’ bookings. This approach of having to find your waitress/waiter, rather than them over-attending to you, may suit some people. I will certainly come back to high tea here because it’s in a convenient location, and I am a fan of the Mandarin Oriental brand.
