With a storied history and an envious location, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London is the quintessential British retreat. Built in 1889 and a longtime favorite of the Royal Family, who come and go undetected through the property's Royal Entrance, this luxury hotel boasts views of Hyde Park and is an architectural staple in the fashionable neighborhood of Knightsbridge. Within its clutches are a collection of plush rooms and suites with traditional British overtones and an abundance of luxuries and various amenities. It is easy to understand why Travel + Leisure continually names this hotel among of the world's very finest.

The hotel deco was timeless and truly luxury that can’t find in other hotel in London! Compare to my last visit in 2015, the hotel received some major renovation with a new look of guest room which meet with current luxury standard! The staff are all helpful while not over assistance. You was just offered assistance when you were needed as they observed your gesture!

Great location with Hyde Park a stone thrown away. Elegant lobby, comfortable room and most importantly, friendly staff and people.

Attended an event at the hotel, and all I can say is wow. The service and food were amazing from start to finish. Beautiful canapés to start at the drinks reception and never an empty glass the waiters were very quick to offer a refill, as were those tray serving the canapés were also very attentive. Then the main event the Brie and Spinach Tart was light and crisp, then the fantastically moist Chicken main course and the lightest Tirimisu I've ever had before. The food coupled with the service and setting made it the perfect night celebrating 25 years of Springboard FutureChef and this year's national final.

A must try at least once when in the capital. We visited and stayed with family, we had a two bedroom suite complete with wonderful touches like fresh flowers, champagne on arrival and truffles, all complimentary but made the entire stay feel worth the kind of huge price tag. The spa and wellbeing was not a patch in Corinthians though. We really enjoyed afternoon tea here and lunch in the garden was sublime. Service was excellent

A five star hotel in every way. Our concierge (Lassie) was especially helpful and cheery. The entire hotel staff is notably friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping is extraordinary. The dining/drinking venues that are part of this hotel are all top shelf (and expensive). Here you get what you pay for (you’ll pay a lot).
