Reviews for ME London

No, no, no!

Totally disappointed! However let’s start with the good. Comfortable bed, large room, great location and sound proofed rooms. Good sized closet and Bathroom. Comfy robes and towels. Concierge helpful. The bad: room not properly cleaned, bathroom sink did not drain properly, in room safe halfway broken so that it took two of us to open and close each time, elevator broken, no personal service at all, roof top bar was a complete disappointment due to service and extremely loud music. If we were not seated outside we would have left as could not hear a thing inside but the pulse of the music. Our server actually walked away while we were ordering, said she would be back, and never came back. No mention was made despite us telling the new person who came that we didn’t know if our order was put in or not. The vibe was snobby and elite and gave us a big ICK. The interior of the hotel is obviously going for a sleek, sexy vibe but it just felt like it was trying too hard. Gym was one level below ground, tiny and dark so we did not use. Lastly I don’t love being told we are getting a “city view” room when in fact you had to be standing up tall to see out of the window which was only covering the top part of the ceiling. Sitting at the little two person table there was no view. If this hotel had cost less I probably would not have given a below par review but it was deemed a high end spot and compared to other top notch 5 star hotels we have stayed in, it does not deserve the title.

When traveling for work, I always stay at the ME London. The location is extremely convenient and the room as spacious and clean. The staff is always very helpful.

Not 5*

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Firstly the staff were very friendly and tried to help, from there things went downhill for a 5* hotel. The room was small but redeemed by having an open, private balcony with a great view of London. The hotel is very techy, for example there were no printed room service menus, instead one had to turn on the TV and scan the QR code which wasn't easy to find as a consequence of all the options presented. The turn down service was not reliable in that when we went out at 7pm having requested this service, we were surprised on our return at 9.15pm, that the service had not been provided. Paper napkins rather than linen napkins were supplied for room service menus and it was difficult to find the dressing gowns. The hotel decor is primarily black in colour which one either appreciates or doesn't however the roof bar is excellent for private functions. Ordering room service was lengthy in that it took staff a while to record what was required and answer the phone: also orders were not correctly fulfilled in that I ordered a dark rum and coke and a baccardi and coke was supplied. Overall our stay was pleasant if not, in my opinion, 5*.

A great week staying at the ME Hotel, London

Location brilliant. Modern and enjoyable. Our room was roomy and well appointed. Bathroom was excellent with double sinks and shower. Good value. Cleanliness very good. Our room was very quiet with no sound of the traffic below. The service was excellent service from all staff and management. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. You couldn’t find a better location in London.

Nice weekend stay

Stayed here for our ten year wedding anniversary - lovely room and worth investing in a room with a balcony. Chaymaa was very friendly and deserves recognition - she was lovely.
