Not somewhere we would return to, on the up side super staff, all of them. Great location. Lovely Lucianos restaurant. However shower (rose set in ceiling and you stand on metal slates, horrible) sent water everywhere except your body. Would have liked a bath but offered a discounted cost of another £100 per room per night rather than the usual £165 per night extra. Broken control panel which affected the electrics so all lights came on during the night more than once. So we asked to move for fear of another bad night. This was handled brilliantly and we were “upgraded” to a balcony room. All rooms have a huge door to enter but you can hear between rooms. The sound proofing on the top of the building is bad (much better lower down) so very noisy night. Not great for black out. Despite large superking bed, storage is down to about one foot of wardrobe space, so even with two small bags we have items all over the floor. Luckily no shower slates but when you shower due to no lip on the shower the water floods the floor and I mean floods the floor. Badly designed sockets so just one accessible by the desk if you unplug the mirror. So big bed but hopeless design for two people, would suit one person so you could use half the bed for your things, who had ear plugs and a face mask and no belongings and did not wash. Modern design should consider practical elements as well as trying to be cool as this fails on many levels. Not for us.

Friendly welcome and stylish entrance, our room was ok but had a tiny window that you couldn’t see out of so felt a bit like a cell. The socket by the bed was coming out of the wall and the beds were really hard. Nice pillows and toiletries. The room was clean. Our breakfast was a shambles as the waiter obviously didn’t understand English, no decaf tea apparently, my friend's breakfast was completely wrong and over facing. My poached eggs were stone cold and served on the wrong bread, definitely not worth the money. The air freshener that is pumped into the hallways is sickly and overwhelming. We were extremely disappointed with our experience as it wasn’t cheap.

Bed very uncomfortable, no lights in hallways, just some weird night light. Weird smell they pump into halls. Bad location.

Rooms clean with comfortable beds, great showers. Excellent location near Covent Garden. Staff excellent and a special thanks to Cristina at reception.

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. From start to finish Christina and the team look after us throughout, exceptional service. Christina even arranged my daughter’s room with some champagne and birthday cake just tremendous.
