Reviews for ME London

Excellent place & Amazing service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Had a fantastic time here! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with great music and friendly staff who made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, and the drinks were well-made and reasonably priced. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to with friends.

Una experiencia profundamente decepcionante

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The experience at Hotel ME London was, without a doubt, one of the most overrated you can have in the city. The property is far from living up to its supposed category and certainly not worth the price it charges per night. From the very beginning, it was clear that the level of cleanliness and maintenance was well below acceptable standards. I found a contact lens stuck to the TV remote control and another on the marble surface behind the toilet—both of which remained there throughout my three-night, four-day stay. Despite sending an email to the front desk to report it, I received no reply until after I had checked out, and the only response was that “they would clean it.” The metal frames of the doors and glass windows were dirty, the marble and floors were visibly worn, and several lights were not working properly. The TV remote —the one with the lens stuck to it— didn’t work, meaning there was no access to basic hotel information. They also never replaced the milk for coffee during my entire stay. The hairdryer, regardless of being a premium brand, was so filthy it was disgusting to use. Breakfast was another major disappointment: three mornings in a row with missing basic items and a staff that was both unpleasant and unprofessional. Overall, an experience unworthy of a hotel of its supposed standing. In my opinion, indecent.

Exceptional concierge service with Lee

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Lee was the kindest and most helpful concierge I have encountered! It was my first time visiting London and he was very knowledgeable and provided me with excellent recommendations to great restaurants, pubs, museums, and memorable sights to see! Anytime I had any questions or issues come up with navigation, transportation, room service, etc. he immediately prioritized them and promptly resolved them. Truly exceptional & attentive service and expertise with Lee!

Decent hotel - adjust your expectations for 5 star though!

ME London was quite an interesting property. While it's marketed as a luxury 5 star, I wholeheartedly feel like this is not accurate. It's not to say that it was a bad experience, but I definitely think you must temper your expectations as it's really just a 4 star. I had reached out to management before arrival, but was not responded to or acknowledged. Upon check-in, we didn't get any upgrade (included with our Amex THC booking), which was surprising since it was mid-week, but that's alright. From there onwards, it just felt like the staff did not really look out to make sure we were having the luxury experience they market as. Then we had some weird issues with the stay. First was using the $100 property credit which we were told at checkin could be used anywhere on site. I just wanted to get two drinks from the lobby bar to take up while we were getting ready, but the staff member said that he could not charge it to the room as "their system isn't set up for that." It is beyond me how the LOBBY bar of a hotel isn't set up with the room credit / payment system? Note this was after the drinks were already poured. Of course that doesn't make any sense, and after some conversation, he begrudgingly agreed to charge it to the room, which made me realize it was in fact possible this whole time - he just didn't want to put in the effort and would've rather closed out the tab then and there. It was this kind of vibe that sets apart luxury properties from generic ones, and this reinforced my notion that ME staff isn't trained for that kind of hospitality. Anyway, the breakfast included was quite nice. The gym was alright, with just two treadmills, some weights, a bike machine, and an elliptical which was not very smooth. You certainly can't beat the location though. The rooftop bar had amazing views during the day. All in all, I would recommend - but definitely don't expect a 5 star property or service!

Terrible hotel

Shocking. From the way I was treated at checking in to the attitude of management over the booking process- cold and uncaring. Dirty linen on beds, bathrooms also dirty
