Pro: Clean, comfortable room; good location; decent breakfast but needed more wait staff. Con: Service in general was lacking-to-absent and impersonal and to top it off, insulting following checkout. Several calls to the front desk were ignored or put on forever-hold, causing us to go downstairs to the desk in person to request needs or get questions answered. For example, we had to go downstairs twice to get a safe that worked properly; the desk attendant actually told us to try harder, necessitating us to make a second in-person request. (The safe was finally changed out by a competent repairman.) Then, at checkout, we were asked if we used the minibar and we said we did not. The next day I received an email saying that a bottle of vodka was missing and that we would be charged for it; this, of course, is tantamount to saying that we lied at checkout. I replied to the email immediately and after a day the charge was refunded, but really, the damage was done. Finally, a few words on the unfortunate hotel design: I found the slick, dark design to be very off-putting, and all the hard surfaces made the loud music even more annoying when entering the hotel or stepping out of the elevator to the ground floor. The worst part, though, was the very dark, tomb-like hallways that were impractical and actually felt threatening when walking through them alone. Who wants to walk down a silent dark hallway with even darker corners? Not this woman.

The Me Hotel is well situated, but other than that, it has multiple issues and feels like it is trying hard to be something it just isn't able to be. Reception: The music is thumping when you walk into the reception, which is an odd atmosphere for a weary traveler, but in keeping with the hip vibe they are trying to convey. Some people may like it. Then, despite multiple email confirmations, the staff appeared confused as they tried to find our reservation. The guy helping us had to ask someone else. They finally found it. The hotel design feels '80s—a sharply angular, cold aesthetic with mirrored doors, black granite and chrome fixtures. The walkways and hallways are so dark it's hard to find your way. Even in our room, we would walk past the bathroom door, unsure if we were passing an actual opening. Service By 4pm today our room still had not been cleaned despite an explicit reminder around 1:30pm. The complimentary breakfast was tasty, but the service poor despite being friendly. Some of the orders were wrong; two identical coffee orders resulted in one cup being brought five minutes later than the other; one request was completely forgotten; and in an attempt to be interesting they serve coffee cream in a tiny cup instead of in a creamer, so when you pour it into your coffee much of the cream drips down the side and makes a mess. We both ordered a second cup of coffee, but we finally left when neither had come after we waited 20 minutes. We asked for the check, assuming we needed to sign something, and the waitress said she'd bring it shortly. Ten minutes later, the host comes and tells us there's no check since it's complimentary. Room Our room was tiny, which is not unusual in London, so that's OK. Bed is comfortable. However, the safe is basically unusable. A working safe is a basic function even in cheap hotels, and this is a pricey facility. The design of this safe is inexplicable. It is a drawer with a lid; the lid is insanely heavy, and is opened by lifting a tiny knob that is almost impossible to grip. I could not do it. My partner was able to lift it, but the lid doesn't open all the way or stay up on its own, and the drawer wants to slide back into place, which would result in your fingers being slammed if you don't pull your fingers back quickly. The upshot is that one person has to hold open the lid while the other one puts things into/takes things out of the safe. This feature alone means we would not return here. The bathroom is nice and well-appointed. The door is frosted glass and cannot be locked. The attempt to be cutting-edge also involves all kinds of touch buttons on the wall by the nightstand, situated very low so you have to bend way down to reach them, and it's hard to see them clearly or to discern what to do with the various buttons. No instructions anywhere. Controls are only on one side of the bed. Even the phone suffers from form over function; it is hard to place properly on the cradle. In the closet (which is also dark), things are awkwardly placed and hard to reach. Nowhere to put a regular suitcase in the whole room. Luckily, we had a duffel and it fit under the narrow desk. Not a terrible experience by any means, and many very pleasant staff members, but we would not stay here again.

Booked for two nights at a cost of almost $1,200 and hotel completely refused to give any consideration to provide a refund when we got stuck in the US due to American Airlines cancelling our flight to London. We immediately notified the hotel the evening before arrival that we were not able to get to London until 2 days later. Because we booked a non-refundable rate just a few days earlier, they stated they were unwilling to offer any refund or even a voucher to rebook another date. While I understand the policy, this was completely out of our control and would have expected a bit of goodwill from a luxury property. Federico Mazzoni the Reservations Manager stated that he was unwilling to do make any exception from the policy regardless of the situation. Very disappointing customer service. We travel extensively and every other hotel chain we have dealt with has been willing to give some consideration to extenuating travel circumstances.

Beautiful hotel room with an incredibly nice staff. I would absolutely stay here again if I come back to London.

The place is very well located, does not matter if you need it for business or tourism. the place is modern and elegant you can go anywhere from here by train, boat, metro or even walking. Also there are very good restaurants near the hotel. the team is very supportive. i had some problems with my reservation and they help me to solve it without charging any additional fee.
