What a beautiful hotel! I absolutely loved my stay here. The employees were all so attentive, cheeful and helpful in every way. I mentioned it was my birthday when I booked, and they had a lovely plate of treats and a card for me on my arrival. The bed was one of the best and most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. The decor is excellent and it’s in a fantastic neighbourhood. I was so surprised at how quiet it was at night - you couldn’t hear a thing! I would highly recommend this hotel and will absolutely come back again on a future trip to London.

Our travel agent had the knowledge and good sense to book us into the Montague on the Gardens hotel for the 5 nights in London portion of our UK vacation. The moment we walked through the door we were met with such a warm welcome! The customer service was superb throughout the entire hotel. The location is very convenient for walking to food & drink and the British Museum. Cabs to shopping/tours/transportation hubs come in less than two minutes. Their in-house restaurant prepared tasty dinners and wonderful breakfasts. The Leopard bar was beautiful and made excellent cocktails, the best “Aviation” we have ever had. The hotel manager Arjeta and the general manager Dirk have worked there for decades. We feel that is why everything ran so smoothly and we were made to feel like family. We can’t wait to return! We celebrated my wife’s birthday with a family meal here. There was a genuine welcome and we found the service throughout attentive but not intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food, as well as the general ambiance. Special mention of Stavi who organised a birthday surprise for my wife with little notice. Hugely appreciated!

Afternoon tea for 5 ladies. Fitted us in at short notice. What a lovely hotel. We sat overlooking the private gardens. Afternoon tea was fabulous. Typically British which we loved, even though we were Londoners ourselves! Staff were faultless. Special thanks to Enkeleda, James & Lucy for being so accommodating. Managers are just fantastic too. You know who you are. Wonderful choice of sandwiches (the chicken with almonds was my personal favourite), the scones, lovely and warm and spoilt for choice with the cakes! We couldn’t eat it all. We are looking to re visiting nearer Christmas. Thank you again to all the lovely, friendly staff. Look forward to seeing you again.

Impressive little hotel. The room was perfectly appointed and the decor is gorgeous. The chief concierge Levente was a life saver helping us with a list of things we needed to find. Ines at the front desk was lovely as well as Declan, Lorien and Piotr with F&B. I highly recommend staying here.
