Thanks for a lovely reception this evening, Nadia.

First time in this hotel and enjoyed 6 nights on the 8th floor. Other family members spread on different floors. Reception was very busy (most of the time) but staff always friendly, helpful and happy to assist. Was impressed by the Eco cleaning initiative although getting restocked on tea/coffee/milk proved problematic on occasion mainly due to busy reception - a minor issue but one which the hotel should consider addressing maybe with small stocks of items on each floor or perhaps a dedicated reception desk. Room spacious, comfy bed and great bathroom with bath & shower (a welcome change). We found the room warm even with A/C on coldest level so had the window open overnight which worked for us although the outside noise raised up a notch. The electronics controlling lighting, heating & blinds/curtains was impressive too. The pool and spa is small but worth booking a slot, especially with little ones. Be aware the changing rooms are compact with 10 lockers in the male one with one small bench. Location-wise the Riverside is hard to beat - easy walking distance over Lambeth Bridge to Millbank/Embankment to catch buses to the West End, Covent Garden etc, buses outside the hotel take you to South Kensington/Clapham Junction or towards Liverpool Street by crossing over to the river side of the Albert Embankment. A short walk back to Vauxhall connects you to the Victoria Line tube and National Rail and bus hub. Plenty of food options round and about - we enjoyed the Cafe Madeira, Metropolis and Vauxhall Market (both street food), again all within short walking distance. Will be happy to return here on next London visit.

Very clean, modern and safe hotel, with exceptional staff and service. Been here a few times and it is now my default first option for central London.

Great hotel, nice location, friendly staff, the view from the restaurant was great and the breakfast had plenty of options.

When choosing to stay at a hotel at this price point, I am looking for the experience to focus on the smaller details and ensure that the stay is without those little issues. AC didnt work meaning the room was warm all night. There was stains in the Shower, as well as no conditioners. Robes etc only provided for 1 guest when booked for two. Lock on the bathroom broken. We raised this the next morning as we checked out and staff seemed less than interested. Overall I would have preffered to stay in a cheaper hotel.
