We stayed at Park Plaza Riverbank in London for our daughter’s 9th birthday. The staff were warm and friendly, and breakfast was good. The pool was decent, though we had to get up early the next day to use it, as we weren’t informed it needed to be booked. On the day and evening of arrival, we couldn’t use the pool at all. Our first room had broken heating and a non-working phone, so we requested a room change. The second room was older and less clean — grubby bathroom marks, dust on surfaces, and all empty shower products. Room service also brought our food order wrong. Birthday arrangements were minimal and another young child celebrating her birthday got much more attention from staff and was sung “Happy Birthday” at her table, while my daughter had to watch on, despite staff knowing it was also her special day. Finally, there was an unclothed male guest very visible in his room, directly opposite ours, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable, especially with a young child, so we had to keep our curtains closed the entire time. Overall, while staff were friendly, the combination of broken heating, cleanliness issues, poor communication, incorrect food order, disappointing birthday arrangements, and the very uncomfortable situation with a male guest meant this stay did not meet expectations. I will not stay again — there are much better hotels in London in the same price range.

We arrived at reception and welcomed so nicely. Isabela was so sweet and friendly at the kids club for Xmas activities! She made us feel so welcome, adriana from housekeeping was amazing. She found us walking to our room, greeted us and took us to our room to make sure all was ok and booked us for swimming and kids activities, we felt welcome instantly. It’s people like this that made our stay so special. Thank you

Very comfortable stay with excellent service. Breakfast spread was delicious and scrambled eggs were to die for! My daughter is allergic to dairy and their lovely staff ensured she had dessert options each day. Isabella also arranged for a special song and muffin presentation for her birthday which was such a great touch! Concierge and gate staff were also super-helpful. Late night menu was brilliant while we were dealing with jetlag. Would stay here again when we are in London.

Its been more than 3 days and there hasn't been update about the Robbery Case filed by me. My money (£7000+) was stolen from my room from my luggage, which was locked. The theif (a hotel staff with key card access) entered the room and ripped open the luggage lock chain and took the money. This happened on 17th Dec 2025 when I returned to the hotel in the evening, I found my bag chain open and money was gone. I immediately checked everything else but only 1 bags chain were ripped open and they stole my money from my room. I reported the incident to the hotel authorities but they were not so compliant with us. They kept on pointing fingers saying another team will "look into it" and there was no security manager for any emergency situation like this. It makes me think the hotel staff is in on it. Terrible Terrible experience. I was staying their with my family and all the money was gone and their "security team" didn't do anything about it. The least they can do is be compassionate and empathetic to the person who just got robbed. Seems like they lack humanity. To the hotel authorities, i have already registered the case with the police and we urge you to atleast reimburse us for the stolen value. Because you clearly cant do anything about the mental trauma and suffering this incident brought me and my family. We have been patient but clearly there hasn't been any update from your end. If we dont get any solution within the next 10 days, we will be suing the hotel, the staff involved and the security for lack of security policies, robbery and mental harassment.

I received a very warm welcome and exceptional services from Viduni (receptionist). She was incredibly helpful with checking in earlier. Her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made a real difference to my day. I highly recommend Park Plaza Riverbank and I appreciate their outstanding customer services!
