This is now the 5th time in 2 years we’ve stayed here. This was arguably THE BEST stay we’ve had here. We opted for the surprise upgrade (£248) and we got an amazing Suite with 2 rooms which was superbStaff a service is always superb (this trip was for my wife’s birthday an she was blown away). We checked in late-ish; there was a horrendous guest making a scene; the staff were incredibly professional and mindful of the guests around at all times, successfully diffusing the situation. The stay couldn’t have been any better. It was the first time we ordered room service. The food was great but the staff very mindful of my wife and daughter’s coeliac allergies. I couldn’t find a fault even if I tried. I absolutely love coming back to this hotel after long day shopping with expensive daughters. I feel I need to try the other Park Plaza Hotels in London, but I won’t. This place is just perfect.

Hafidh was so friendly and helpful. He got me an oat latte and nothing was too much for him.

Where do we start. Should have visited in December but due to family illness we were unable to visit. The hotel were very understanding and allowed us to move the booking without charge. Anyway when we arrived in London we went to the wrong hotel to begin with, there are 5 all close to each other belonging to the same group. Made it to the Riverbank, staff were excellent, welcoming and polite. Checked into our executive room with a view of the Thames. Nice room, bit tired and but the wardrobe door fell off when we touched it. Went backdown to reception and we were straight away looked after by the amazing Senior Guest Relations Manager Khaldoon Wafa who could not do enough. We nearly didn’t make it again on our trip due to various problems but Mr Wafa was determined to ensure we had an enjoyable break. We were given an amazing room on the 15th floor - WOW what a view and what a lovely room. Mr Wafa also arranged usage of the Riverview Lounge for the duration of our stay. The Riverview Lounge was private, quiet and just lovely to relax and unwind. Staff there were polite, helpful and welcoming. Food was lovely with a great selection of drinks. During our stay Mr Wafa went above and beyond. He gave us his email and said to use it anytime. We had forgotten some toiletries, emailed him and even though he’d finished for the day arranged out of hours for the missing toiletries to be delivered to our room. Excellent service and highly commendable. Overall a great stay, all staff were polite at all times and nothing was a problem. Only negative was that at breakfast time, the restaurant had too many tables placed in every gap, you couldn’t move or get round without squeezing through of past tables and people. We will be retuning !
