Park Plaza London Riverbank

I’ve just checked in at the Park Plaza on London’s Embankment. I was greeted by two lovely courteous ladies at check-in (Latha and Nadia). I asked if my room had a bath. They checked, and it didn’t. They did find a higher class of room that had a bath, but it had an additional charge. The offered to reduce the charge, given that I was staying for more than one night. Unfortunately, my corporate booking wouldn’t flex to accommodate the change. Latha and Nadia then searched and searched to see if there was another room they could offer that had a batch. And they found one!!! I didn’t request a bath as a luxury. I have a skin condition (but I didn’t tell them that). They were both so courteous and helpful and kind that I’ve felt compelled to write this review upon checking into my room (which is lovely, by the way). What a great way to arrive at a hotel!

Always our go to hotel in London. 3rd stay here since 2018. Excellent location and great breakfast included in our stay! Easy to get around London and super comfy. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in London! The location was excellent, putting us close to everything we wanted to see and do. Our room was spotless, and the breakfast spread was generous and delicious — a great way to start the day. The staff deserve a special mention: friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. We also loved the swimming pool — a good size and never felt overcrowded, which was a nice bonus. Honestly, we struggled to find anything to complain about. If we’re being picky, a bit more in the way of kids’ entertainment or activities would have been the cherry on top for families traveling with little ones. Otherwise, a fantastic experience and we’d happily stay again!

We visited in May for a couple of nights. The hotel is in an excellent location and is within walking distance of key attractions. Anusha checked us in and gave us a wonderful welcome to the hotel. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. Some of the furniture was starting to look a little worn at the edges, but this didn't detract from the stay. We didn't use the gym and pool facilities on this occasion, but we did go to view them and they looked excellent. The lady at the spa/pool was very helpful.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the hotel. The pictures misrepresented what it actually looked like. The rooms are very dark and even with the lights on you can barely see yourself. I booked this hotel 2 months before my trip and I requested connecting rooms with my daughter, I was told that my request was noted on my reservation. When we got there I was informed that there were no connecting rooms available, they didn’t even try to accommodate my request. Needless to say I won’t be going back to that hotel ever again.
