Park Plaza London Riverbank

It’s been wonderful staying in this hotel, Park Plaza Riverbank. The people are nice, room was clean and good. Location wasn’t in the central but just 20mins away on foot to certain attractions.

Always a great stay at Park Plaza, I consider myself fortunate to be able to stay here due to work policy. You can build a great relationship with the staff. Irene as an example in the main dining room is friendly and attentive consistently, as are most of the team serving up their wonderful breakfasts with consistent quality.

I’ve stayed at a few of the Park Plaza hotels for work and I think this might be the best. Superb view from the room, and lovely service from everyone especially Selin on reception. Fabulous!

At around 10:15pm, a member of staff entered my room while I was undressed. She knocked and then entered my room almost immediately. The staff member did not leave immediately, nor clearly avert her eyes and did not clearly explain why she had entered, which added to the discomfort. I raised this with management afterwards, but I was disappointed with the response. I was told this was not considered a security issue and was advised that I should have bolted myself shut in the room. This felt dismissive of the situation and insensitive. The only resolution offered was a 50% discount on a future stay (with exclusions), which I did not feel was appropriate given the circumstances. Aside from this, the room itself was below expectations. The twin beds combined as a double were not well presented, and some of the room features felt dated and unnecessarily complicated.

Thank you for a great experience for our two night stay on our way to European Whirl trip to the various country. Love the hotel, enjoyed the breakfast with Sureyya’s help with eggs and pancakes! Thank you all soo very much. X
