The Ritz London

We recently stayed at the Ritz hotel, we took our two daughters for a weekend in London. Firstly the service is exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, the room itself had everything we needed and more, my only complaint is that the room itself (311) had a smell of smoke. I’m not sure if smoking is allowed in some rooms but as non smokers it was rather un pleasant. Overall through, the hotel was lovely, service perfect.

From the moment we arrived at The Ritz, we felt like we had stepped into another world. Our three-day stay, including our wedding day, was nothing short of a complete fairy tale — beyond anything we could have imagined or dreamed of. The doormen deserve a very special mention. They were truly outstanding, looking after us with such warmth and kindness, and making us feel like we were coming home rather than visiting for the first time. Saying goodbye to them was genuinely sad, as they added so much to our experience. The Rivoli Bar and its staff were also incredible, making every visit feel like pure magic. We were made to feel like royalty throughout, and every detail was handled with such care. Dining at The Ritz was an experience we will treasure forever. The food and service were on another level — breakfast both in our room and in the restaurant was perfection, and dinner was simply unforgettable. We were also deeply touched by the thoughtful wedding gifts from the hotel and staff, which we will treasure for a lifetime. Every single member of staff we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay so special, and we cannot thank them enough. The Ritz will forever hold a piece of our hearts, and we are already looking forward to returning — this time as Mr. and Mrs. Smart — for our first wedding anniversary.

We had a wonderful high tea here. The service was second to none and the food fabulous. We went for a celebration and it was everything we had hoped for: lovely ambience, staff and highly memorable.

We had a really incredible stay at the Ritz in London recently. It was a very special occasion and we commemorated it with an afternoon tea and an overnight stay! The decor in the hotel was really beautiful particularly where they serve the afternoon tea. Our experience was catapulted to extraordinary by two staff members in particular, John F who spent time with my son sharing wonderful stories and making sure our stay was really special. John F created such a positive feel for us of the hotel and showcased great hospitality and such warmth! My son will always remember him for the time he spent making him feel at ease, entertained by his company and so welcome there! Jude H who was the duty manager during our stay. Jude took us on a tour of the hotel and shared the fascinating history of the hotel and brought it to life. I have never been to a hotel with such a rich history and Jude is a really talented story teller who completely captivated us with her tour. She was so kind and warm and I genuinely think I’ve not met a hotel manager like her! I wanted to move in (if only!!). Braydon and Fabian ensured that our afternoon tea was really special and were v professional and responsive to all our requests. The Ritz is a very special place but what makes it extraordinary are the staff - really exceptional and genuine which made the experience one to be treasured.

Lovely lunch food was excellent as always great service, staff can’t do enough for you.Beautiful hotel furnished lovely.
