If you ever feel the desire to experience something out of the ordinary I suggest you give this a go. We booked a 2 night stay to include dinner on the first night and afternoon tea on the second day. The entire experience was amazing, from the arrival to the departure the staff cannot do enough to make your stay the best you will have had. Everything about the hotel is perfect. It is not cheap, but then if it was, would it be the most stand out 2 night break you ever have?

We stayed at The Ritz almost exactly a year ago for the first time. Although we had been previously for afternoon tea and for drinks that was our first overnight stay. At the time my Wife was recovering from a long period of health problems and her birthday was coming up. I booked a package to include the Saturday Night Dinner Dance and an overnight stay as a special treat and it was amazing! Exceeded every expectation and made my Wife very happy indeed. As her Birthday approached again this year and given that we very recently got the best possible news on the health front, I asked her what she would like for her Birthday this year? Well, I should have anticipated the answer. "The Dinner Dance and a stay at The Ritz again" so that's what we did last Weekend. I was a little concerned though as it was so wonderful last time I hoped it could be as good again. Well it wasn't! It was even better! The Ritz delivers Old World style, luxury, elegance and excellence on every level without a hint of pomposity or pretentiousness. Not an easy balance to get right. This is in large part due to the Staff. Without exception every member of staff with whom we engaged from the cheery smiling Doormen and Porters on the pavement who greeted us as we alighted from our Taxi to to Waiters. Bar Staff, Housekeeping etc they were all keen and enthusiastic to help us and engage with us at all times.Utterly charming and a testament to their individual professionalism and, good management and training. We would particularly like to mention Giacomo who greeted us so warmly in reception on our arrival and was so very kind to my Wife that she said she felt like she was coming home! We would also like to mention Mark the Senior Concierge and the Team who similarly could not have been more friendly, warm and helpful. As for the Dinner Dance, well, if you have not been GO! It is amazing! As is the Food, service, entertainment and everything about the evening.A unique experience in a most beautiful setting. We can all strive as much as we like to to get perfection these days but it is in short supply and we usually come up short changed and disappointed. Well, The Ritz once again delivered perfection and more to us and made my Wife feel very special in every way on her special Weekend and I guess I already know what she will want to do on her next Birthday if not before! Absolutely wonderful experience, the service was outstanding by the waiting staff, beautiful decor in the hotel, it was like going back in time. The afternoon tea and champagne was very nice, probably the best hotel I've ever been to.

Well I don't really know how to put into words how amazing this place is. We went for cocktails and afternoon tea on 1st May for my birthday with 5 of my friends and literally from the second we arrived until the second we left I cannot fault a single thing. To start with the hotel is breath taking and the staff were ALL amazing. The food was fabulous and even the tea is better than I have ever tasted. Value for money I think is amazing, when you take everything into account and we will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone at the Ritz for making us feel so special, everything was perfect!!!

We did not stay, but my beautiful daughter booked afternoon tea as part of my Christmas gift. We were there Wednesday 25th April. Magnificent could not cover it. Beautiful food, the surroundings well, second to none. I have had the pleasure to have been in many beautiful surroundings, but the Ritz elegance took my breath away. Luigi from Sardinia, and his fellow waiter from Rome, sorry did not get his name, two beautiful polite boys and a credit to your Hotel. Would be proud to call them my sons. I do not say that lightly.
