The Rosewood has to be one of the best hotel experiences in London. Excellent location for business and pleasure with West End, Covent Garden, British Museum etc in walking distance. I loved the exquisite decoration and architecture, so much to please the eye and stimulate ideas, such such as the corridor between entrance and reception area. I also delighted in discovering the many small thoughtful ideas that make all the difference such as the little plastic bag for liquids needed for carry on luggage which was placed by housekeeping where I would find it easily the night before my departure. My absolute favourites which made all the difference compared to similarly luxurious hotels (like the Roccoforte group): the animal staff members, birds and Pearl the dog (all clearly well looked after and a joy to interact with by staff and guests) and the relaxed atmosphere - every staff member was truly lovely and kind, almost no one was rushed off their feet but had time to listen and take care of things without stress.

This should be a 6 star hotel as it is so much better than other 5 star establishments with impeccable service and beautiful interiors. Quirky little things like a hotel dog and birds and chocolates in the hallway make this hotel stand out

We enjoyed excellent service and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and the welcome champagne and birthday cake were very nice. Nice bar and excellent breakfast. We would certainly visit again.

Wonderful 3 days for London reunion. Great staff and best engish I have ever eaten! Even though it is on a Bay Street the room was v quiet and the stuff were extremely attentive and professional. Throughly recommended.

At first, we thought we’ve accidentally wandered into a high-society private club with the display of luxury cars such as Rolls Royces and Bentleys in the hotel’s courtyard. But once inside, we were greeted with warmth, charm, and character that reflects the style of a British mansion rather than a hotel. Our room was simple– we found ourselves in a simple space, with room to roam, and a marvelous bathroom retreat– Marble, copper sinks and fixtures, mirrored walls, tub, enclosed shower, and luxurious amenities more than made up for the simplicity of the room. Now don’t get us wrong, while the room was simple, it was classic. The king-sized bed was inviting, the writing desk was adorned with small details that made it appear more like an original piece than a hotel room standard fixture. Rarely do we comment on the mini bar, but it in this case, we must. Like any smart and understanding hotel, the mini bar treats are complimentary. A pleasant perk, that quite frankly, more establishments should offer. Granted that the champagne and wine are extra, the curated selection of artisan-styled beverages and snacks offered a level of thoughtfulness that confirmed to us that Rosewood London is more than a hotel… it’s a little more like home away from home. As with any proper visit to London, afternoon tea is a must, and Rosewood London does not disappoint! The Mirror Room is exquisite. It’s a confusingly delightful interpretation of classic styling, salon sophistication, modern elements, and an eclectic flare that might distract you from your teat time companion if they aren’t satisfactorily engaging. Funny thing is, our stay at Rosewood Hotel London was somewhat accidental, and at the end of our stay, we found ourselves wishing we had booked our entire stay in London at this magnificent property. While Rosewood may not be for the faint of wallet, it is most certainly tremendous value for experience and we look forward to visiting again, at least for tea, any time we hear London calling. visit our site to read more TheHermitIsOut
