Everything was lovely in so many ways, from the staff to the accommodations. Even had a resident golden retriever named Pearl who was a very warm touch for us. When checking in we were treated to a tour as well as escorted to our room and shown the appointments of the room. Comfortable bed and I am picky due to hip issues. My husband left his phone in a taxi and the driver was able to get in touch with us and in the middle of the night Enand at the front desk helped us by paying the driver in pounds and just adding it to our bill.

We had a wonderful stay at the Rosewood! Staff was very helpful in every way and did all they could to make us happy. Every detail was looked after, from the doorman always ready with the umbrella to the room cleaning staff and the room service persons. Tks for a great time!

Although I have been to London a number of times over the past 20+ years, this recent visit was a celebration of my son's recent graduation and a jet lag rest stop of four days before a baltic cruise. So in looking for something special and finding their website, I went with a junior suite and although the photos indicated it was a lovely room and hotel, it did not do justice to the in-person reality of the place. It definitely gives you a sense of staying in London, vs being generic. The rooms were very well appointed, and we immediately felt comfortable and at home. The overall hotel spaces are also very lovely and as an added touch, they leave out bowls of english chocolate treats. A dangerous place. ;) I should also mention that our room was VERY quiet, even though the hotel is on a major street in a metropolitan area in an older building. There was absolutely no street or adjoining room noise, so we slept very well. This isn't always the case when you are in a city, regardless of the star ratings, so that was also a major plus to us. The staff were all consummate professionals and a pleasure to deal with as they went out of their way without a blink of an eye! A quick example, there is a pop up patio during the nicer months and I enjoyed meeting friends there for one leisurely afternoon, with a lovely chablis available by the glass. The next day, having done the walking you do in London, a glass of chablis sounded perfect, so I stopped by the bar for a nightcap. Apparently the bar doesn't pour the same wines as the pop up, and even though I was more than happy to try something else on their well appointed list, the bartender insisted on finding out what they poured and within a few minutes, I had the same chablis in hand. I have been to a number of fancy hotels over the years, and even worked at a 5 star hotel when in college, so when I say this place makes sure the client is happy, they really do! Additionally, the location was GREAT. 1/2 block away is the Holburn tube stop, and 5 minutes walk from Covent Garden, although there were a number of places available nearby for anything needed as well. Although I usually have stayed in hotels more central, this location was perfect as far as getting anywhere quickly. Even when I needed a cab, being slightly out of the center of town made it really easy to get places without getting stuck in traffic, as well as being able to walk on sidewalks without trouble. HIGHLY recommended. I will return!

I used to stay here when it was the Chancery Lane and I hadn't been back for some years. It's an amazing hotel. Great rooms, attentive service....even chocs in the lobby to help yourself to! Hard to fault.

The front desk personnel are incredibly helpful, as well as, the bell staff. There is a relaxing lobby area and pleasant outdoor bar. The rooms are clean, updated and very comfortable. This hotel is a short block from the Holborn tube station which is on the Central Line -extremely helpful in avoiding the maddening traffic on the weekdays in London. We would highly recommend a stay here which was a peaceful break from a busy city.
