About the Hotel
You might still spot politicians enjoying a reprieve from Parliament at The Royal Horseguards. It began life as The National Liberal Club in 1884 and was commandeered by the Ministry of Defense during both world wars to headquarter the M15 and M16, Britain's secret intelligence organizations. After undergoing a full renovation in 2008, sparkling chandeliers and contemporary accents join the oil paintings and rich red and gold furnishings that still retain the air of Westminster.

A few days in London before a cruise
The Hotel is in a great location. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and professional. We would stay at the Royal Horseguards Hotel again when in London

Disappointing Stay
Currently staying at this hotel, I would change if I could. Location is the only thing this hotel has going for it . 2 rooms booked as same category, one room was far superior. How is this? Housekeeping was not actioned until 4.30 and that was after 3 requests. Turned away from Green Parlour bar at 3.30, told is was closed and come back at 5, only to walk past at 4.30 to see it open. A big disappointment for a hotel of 5 stars, closer to 3.

Horseguards Stay
Hopefully, our experience was a one off. We have stayed here in the past, and had very different and positive experiences.

Great stay
Lovely hotel, great apartment. Had a nice lunch on the terrace and drinks in the evening. All staff were friendly and welcoming particularly Asa who we meet at lunch and in the evening.
