My wife and I needed a hotel in London close to Paddington Station as we needed to catch the Heathrow Express the following morning. It was a toss-up between this and one other hotel in the area; ultimately we chose this one as it appeared higher rated and a very good price. We couldn't believe our eyes upon arriving: first was the spectacular Victorian (?) era marble and stone building; then it was the enormously generous room upgrade we received which provided us a spectacular, huge, impossibly comfortable 4-post king sized bed; a separate sitting room; and a delightfully pleasant balcony (not to mention the complimentary bottle of bubbly). Staff was extremely gracious, friendly, and attentive; in fact, we preemptively made a request to book a room for our return to London next month. That's how good this place is. Bonus: we'd previously always stayed in the Kensington/Knightsbridge, Covent Garden, or Canary Wharf neighborhoods, so to finally see the spectacularly pleasant Paddington area was very welcome indeed. TOP TIP: head straight for The Victoria Pub just a 5 minute walk away!

Booked because of location, 5 mins walk from Paddington Station and close to Hyde Park. We wanted to be near Royal Albert Hall. Hotel is exceptionally friendly, efficient with a warmth which makes you feel like a valued visitor, not just an anonymous person passing through. The hotel is reminiscent of a classic country house, with super drapes, traditional furnishings and paintings. Our room, a basic one facing the back, was stylish, with desk, and small sitting area to watch TV. Ample wardrobe and drawer space and well appointed bathroom. We had lunch when we arrived, and this was first class, and, for London, reasonable priced. Breakfast price at Ā£25, may seem expensive, but you can buy a voucher which gives you 2 for Ā£25...or thereabouts , and the breakfast is one of the best we have appreciated, ie fresh orange and other juices, excellent selection of muesli and nuts, besides almost anything in the cooked line you would wish for. My only grouse was that the coffee was always on the warm, tepid side rather than hot. Staff were first rate, helping us with directions, hailing a taxi or anything else you needed. Without doubt we would recommend this well run establishment to everyone.

This is a gem of a hotel 5 minutes walk from Paddington station. We were given an upgrade at check in. The room was the nicest we have stayed in in London. (And we go every year). Do not hesitate to book. Perfect!

My family and I just enjoyed our second stay at the Royal Park Hotel in late October 2017. We returned to this beautiful boutique hotel because we love the hotel itself, the staff are beyond wonderful, the rooms are perfect with so much charm, and the location makes everything we want to do walkable. We can even walk to and from Paddington Station when we arrive and depart - a five minute walk! Natasha and Carlos are so friendly. Helpful with advice for tourists. Excellent with our children. And so eager to ensure that we were happy and comfortable. They even put out a little personal Halloween display for our son, complete with treats! We will definitely be back to see you, and know that anyone staying with you will also love everything about this lovely hotel.
