Daniel, James and Karthik especially made our trip extra special. Their friendly service and expertly crafted cocktails were shear joy. Comfortable and inviting atmosphere, fantastic food and great drinks. Highly recommend the Caxton bar and St. Ermin’s Hotel in the heart of London yet off the beaten path. Absolutely beautiful.

Our second stay at this property. Such a lovely hotel with exceptional staff. The first room we were assigned to was not satisfactory for a five night stay. We need a very bright room. The lovely young lady at the desk remedied the situation very gracefully. I apologize as I forgot her name, but she was a beautiful young lady from Albania. Thank you to her for helping make our stay exceptional. We were able to change rooms the following day to a much brighter room. So much happier. When we were in the process of changing rooms, I forgot a very small adapter in the socket for my iPhone. We checked with the front desk if ever the housekeeper may have spotted it. And yes, they did, she delivered to our new room. I was very impressed. It was so small hidden away in a small out of the way spot. Our breakfast each day was just wonderful. So much choice. We had a waitress the first day who which I found outstanding. I’m sorry once again I have forgotten the name. She has only been there about four months. She is originally from the Philippines. Speaks several languages. What a pleasant and efficient person. I had started to couch a bit and it kept on. All of a sudden she came over with a glass of water. Did not have to ask. That’s good service. Anticipating a guests needs. She is an asset to the hotel. Also there was an older man, probably a manager, who was most friendly interacting with us and other guests. Wonderful to speak with him. Another highlight was the cocktail hour they were offering the guests. A complimentary glass of wine and some delicious bites to accompany the wine. Wonderful staff to mingle with a bit. The hotel is in a wonderful location. Beautiful staff and a gorgeous hotel setting with a courtyard. Look forward to staying with them again in the future.

Incredible gem of a hotel in the St. James section of the city….a quick walk to Buckingham Palace or Westminster Abby. The St James tube station is right around the corner. Beautifully restored hotel. Attentive staff…particularly Zion. Also had a great server in the bar ….sorry I don’t know his name who was there several nights during our week’s stay. We appreciated the room upgrade as Platinum Marriott members. Lovely porch to sit and enjoy a quiet location in the city. Nice breakfast buffet. Air conditioning was wonderful during this London heatwave!

Location is so good! And the hotel is full of historical intrigue. Service and staff were tops, especially Carlos and Nahid. They remembered me every time they saw me, and they made sure I had everything I needed, including things I didn’t know I needed. 😁

We selected this hotel as part of a Costco package for our trip to Scotland and Edinborugh. For the money, this hotel has unbeatable value and is comparable to higher end options. It is located in a quiet area. The lobby has historic glamour and staff is very welcoming. The afternoon tea offered as part of the package is delicious. The rooms were modern and clean, and you are located near all the tourist sites. We will definately be coming back.
