First time out of our home country for Christmas week and St. Ermin's made the experience unique. The hotel is located on a quiet street, yet walking distance to major attractions, with plenty of restaurants both upscale and low-key nearby, as well as the tube entrance. The lobby was festively decorated, and Monday thru Thursday wine and appetizers were served from 5:30-6:30pm. The ambiance in general was warm and welcoming as was every staff member we came in contact with. Of special mention is the head of Food and Beverage Experience, Nahid Yasin, who I think sleeps there every day (!) because he clearly LOVES his job, going above and beyond food and beverage to ensure we felt welcome every morning and taking interest in what our plans were for the day, to making suggestions -- he went around the room to greet other guests in the same way. Even sent a bottle of wine to our room. The rooms are well-appointed (with the only complaint being that the bathroom was tight relative to the size of the room (#642) and there wasn't a dresser with drawers for guests with longer stays -- only a closet and requested more hangers which housekeeping delivered in minutes. We were greeted Christmas morning with a goody-filled stocking on our door just to add to the special touch. I was sad to leave. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My son and I stayed here a few days before he started a semester abroad. Beautiful hotel, lovely restaurant and bar that we enjoyed nightly by a fireplace. Staff very professional and helpful

We were delighted to return to the St. Ermin's in mid-December for several nights. We stayed there four nights in early September and decided it would be the place we'd choose again when returning to London. The hotel is wonderfully located in the Westminster area, just a short walk from Victoria Station, and literally around the corner from the St. James Park station. This convenient access to the Underground made for easy transortation to everything we did during both visits. In September we visited the Churchill War Rooms, British Library, Parliament, and the London Eye, and connected at Euston Station with trains for day trips to Bletchley Park and Uxbridge. In December, we enjoyed Christmas shopping in Mayfair, dinner at some incredible nearby restaurants, Kew Gardens at Night for its holiday light display, a lovely afternoon tea, a day of wandering through Notting Hill and Portobello Road, and the Tate Modern. Honestly, the St. Ermin's is a perfect location for whatever you wish to see or do. Our Family Room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed, with a lovely view overlooking the front entrance and gardens. Two queen beds, a day bed, and two bathrooms provided both convenience and good value for family members traveling together. The St. Ermin's staff is exemplary. Front Desk, Housekeeping, Concierge staff, and especially Guest Relations Executive Roberta V. are all friendly, welcoming, and eager to ensure guests a pleasant and trouble-free stay. Transportation needs are seemlessly handled as well. The hotel serves a bountiful breakfast buffet for hearty eaters, but á la carte selections are also available. A perfect, unhurried Afternoon Tea is served in the hotel's Tea Salon and in quiet nooks along its handsome balcony. In September we enjoyed cocktails on the hotel's enormous covered front porch, surrounded by its beautiful gardens---a great spot to end the day. We would recommend the St. Ermin's without reservation--it's still our first choice in London!

Wonderful stay here for Christmas. Hotel is centrally located so you can walk everywhere while taking in all the beautiful Christmas lights. The staff is wonderful - friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed their breakfast every morning too. On Christmas morning they hung stocking on our doors and Santa costed the breakfast dining room! Where charm meets modern.

This hotel is incredible. We absolutely loved our stay here. First, the hotel on the outside is stunning. The lights strung across the outside are beautiful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was perfect. This was one of the only hotels we found in London that had two queen size beds. Additionally, there was there a trundle sofa. A nice surprise was that we thought we’d have 1 bathroom for 4 people, instead we had 2 bathrooms! The room was spacious enough for our family, plus all the luggage we brought. We never felt cramped. Lastly, the service was impeccable. From the housekeeping that was prompt, to the bar where the servers were incredible.
