This is a very nice hotel, it's very nice to come in with the garden. Free Wifi, the room is well equipped (even with an own iron machine), tea/coffee and minibar. It had a very nice bathroom (big). Big nice bed and a window with a view on the garden. Breakfast was basic but good.

One of the most quaint hotels we’ve have ever stayed! The hospitality has been extraordinarily and the breakfast is wonderful!! Not to mention- this is where British spies like M15 and M16 stayed headquartered during WWll. Such history and we are central to most everything with a 10 minute walk to Westminster Abbey. Cheers!!!

I brought my nine-year-old son to London for a five-day stay so we could see the town and visit the Harry Pottery studio. What a wonderful experience it was! The lobby is gorgeous and our room, an executive king, was spacious and lovely. We had a small sofa in addition to a king bed and small dressing area. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet and room service. We live in New Orleans and are highly particular about our food, and this place exceeded our expectations. My nine-year-old loved the salmon eggs benedict. The staff could not have been nicer; they helped get us set up with a dvd player and several movies for my son to enjoy in the room, as we didn't go out much at night. This hotel made a special mother-son holiday even more so, and I would absolutely come back here with the whole family.

Booked a one-night stay via Cunard prior to our cruise out of Southampton. The hotel has a lot of character and charm. Modern amenities but enough historic details and feel to give it a unique feel. Room was spacious, two doubles, sofa, window seating. Though view from the room was an interior courtyard, the shades enabled light to come through while providing privacy. Comfortable beds, nice toiletries. Excellent breakfast buffet. Welcoming, friendly staff. Great Westminster location, around the corner from St. James tube station.
