I had a fantastic stay at St. Ermin’s Hotel. The location is unbeatable - just steps from St. James’s Park and within walking distance of major landmarks like Buckingham Palace and Westminster. The hotel has a beautiful, elegant atmosphere while still feeling relaxed and welcoming. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, and despite the central location, it’s impressively quiet. Service was excellent - friendly, professional, and always helpful. Overall, great value for the quality and experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting London.

we absolutely love the location of the hotel since it was both walking distance to Westminster Abbey as well as Buckingham Palace. We were there to attend Wimbledon and the tube stop takes you directly to Wimbledon was just a two minute walk away. The hotel staff continually went above and beyond to make our stay the it could be. It is a beautiful historic hotel and everything was very clean. The rooms were renovated and as well as the bathroom, which we appreciated. Being an historic hotel the rooms are a little small, but that is to be expected and wasn’t an issue for us. We also very much enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning before we started our day.

Each summer I am invited to speak to Members of Parliament at Westminster about US presidents, have dinner with MPs, and attend a session of Commons or Lords. I chose the St. Ermin’s 3 years ago because of its proximity to Parliament, a quick 10-minute walk away. In addition, the hotel earns top marks from guests, and I know why through 3 stays. I am now greeted by name by the friendly concierge, Mr. Michaelides, in the charming entry courtyard. Likewise, desk clerks (this year Shamoor Ahmed) welcome me as if I were family and place me in my favorite room. The hotel is absolutely spotless, and I see staff dusting furniture, cleaning glass, and fluffing pillows on the lobby couches constantly. Moreover, as a solo traveler, I appreciate the safety of the property and its location. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, tearooms nearby, along with the St. James’s tube station. I love the easy walk to Buckingham Palace & the King’s Gallery (showing QEII’s stunning wardrobe), St. James’s Park, and Victoria St. for shopping. Very near Westminster Abbey (Anglican) and Westminster Cathedral (Roman Catholic). I easily walked to the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square, the Wallace Gallery, and theaters in Whitehall and off The Strand. I’ve been previously to the Churchill War Rooms, 10 Downing St., and Horseguards Parade, but for first-timers they are so convenient. The hotel has a happy hour with wine on its terrace each evening. I am too busy to attend, but it looks like a fun meeting opportunity. After a long day of business and touring, I appreciate the quiet rooms. No noise from outside, due to double-glazed windows, and the staff are never loud as they go about their work. As a single, I can take a small room that is just perfect in every way. One quick request: the TV channel list was a bit sparse and the networks little slow in popping up. I love BBC, but I, as an American, missed CNN from my previous stays. Thank you for making my visit so superb. See you next June!

I had an outstanding stay at St. Ermin's Hotel and would happily return on my next visit to London. The hotel's location is one of its greatest strengths. Nestled on a quiet street in Westminster, it's just a short walk to St. James's Park Underground station, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and many other iconic attractions. Despite being so centrally located, the hotel provides a peaceful retreat from the busy city. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help with directions, recommendations, and any requests we had throughout our stay. Their hospitality truly elevated the experience. The manager in the restaurant was amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful, blending historic elegance with modern comfort. The stunning lobby, grand staircases, and charming courtyard create a warm and sophisticated atmosphere. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed. While London hotel rooms tend to be smaller than those in the U.S., the space was thoughtfully designed and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast each morning offered an excellent selection of both traditional English and continental options, making it a great way to start a day of sightseeing. The happy hour each day was very nice with drinks and staff circulating with Hors d’oeuvres. Overall, St. Ermin's exceeded my expectations with its exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and unbeatable location. If you're looking for a hotel that combines classic London charm with modern amenities, this is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying here again on my next trip to London.
