I stayed at this hotel for three nights. To be transparent, when I first saw photos of the property, it just seemed like an older property and I wasn't sure that I wanted to stay there. I'm so glad that I did. It's a lovely hotel. The St. Ermin's was in an ideal location for us. It was on a quaint, quiet street, yet a 2-minute walk from the nearest tube station, and a 15-20 minute walk from iconic sights we wanted to see as tourists - London Eye, River Thames, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, tour guide meeting spots, etc. It was also walking distance from getting a quick bite to eat. The guest services staff was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were very quiet. The hotel is a beautiful historic property, and much of its original charm in common areas has been well-maintained over the years. You get the opportunity to learn about the historic significance of the property and view artifacts in the hotel. They also have an apiary on the 3rd floor and a glass wall walkway that allows guests to view the bees without risk of being stung. The honey is use in the hotel restaurant. I wish I could've purchased some. There are multiple watering stations to refill water bottles with cold or ambient water. That was a very thoughtful feature that I greatly appreciated. While not large, the room size was adequate and nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The bath towels were fluffy and did a fantastic job of drying. That may sound odd but they were the best towels I have ever felt, and I stay in hotels at least 8-10 times annually. We ate breakfast at the hotel daily. It included a buffet if got and cold items (eggs, hash browns, sausage and bacon, cheeses, smoked salmon, turkey, fruits, veggies, several pastries, etc.). The first morning I needed to grab something quickly so that I could walk over to a tour guide meeting spot. Breakfast isn't set up as grab and go but I worked things out. I recommend you take the time to sit down and eat a proper breakfast, it was a relaxing experience on the days that I did. It was a decent value for the level of service I wanted in a hotel. I recommend staying at this property.

We had stayed here in 2017, and for this trip we stayed the entire 12 day trip at St Ermins. It was a great experience. I cannot fully express how great the staff is. Special mention for Bruno, Zain, Steve, and Daniella ( the “attractive front of the house manager with a winning personality “). The bar staff was also outstanding. The rooms are pleasant and well maintained. I cannot find anything to be even remotely critical of. Highly recommended

We had a great stay at St Ermin’s Hotel. The room was very clean and spacious enough for our family of two adults and two children. A special thank you to Mario, the concierge, who was extremely helpful and made it much easier for us to make the most of our short family trip to London. We would also like to highlight Chiara, who was always incredibly attentive and welcoming at breakfast. The hotel has an excellent location, allowing us to visit many of London’s main attractions on foot.

Everything about this hotel was top notch. We especially liked the happy hour and entertainment each night on the front porch. They had an amazing balloon artist which the kids (& adults loved) and a great English folk dancing group that had guest joining on. Very family friendly. The buffet breakfast was also outstanding. The central location was perfect for all of out activities we wanted to do. Also wanted to give a special recognition to Claret for her wonderful personalized note. We will definitely stay here again!
