I just happened to see this hotel mentioned in a documentary about Cold War era spies then it popped up as an option for an upcoming trip to London. Took a chance and no regrets at all. A great hotel with all the amenities you could want, plus an excellent location to many London sites.

I love this hotel! It is wonderfully comfortable and luxurious with exceptional (can I say brilliant?) service. The front desk is kind and helpful. The concierge is top notch. The room service impeccable. Even more, the location in Westminster is perfect for seeing the sights with at least a dozen or so within walking distance. Add to all that, the hotel is grand yet homey, stunning yet warm, and historical yet cozy. You cannot go wrong, here. Also, the room that I stayed in with my family (including teenagers) had two bathrooms which was extraordinarily convenient. When I return to London, I will certainly stay at the jolly St. Ermin's again!

I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel. First off it's out of my usual price range. However, since it is part of the Marriott organization, I was able to use my accumulated points to make it affordable. The staff was outstanding, they exceeded our expectations and made our stay that much more enjoyable. Reading some of the negative reviews, I simply don't understand how they can criticize them. They certainly treated us like we had rented the best room in the hotel without being condescending. The location was perfect, very close to the underground. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed stayed at St. Ermin's.

St. Ermin's is in a great location and it is nice that they have some rooms that can accommodate families. The staff was very helpful and my kids enjoyed receiving a spy-related packet after we checked in (playing on the hotel's history). The hotel is a short walk to Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and St. James park. Our room was pretty small, which wasn't surprising, and I would probably pay more next time for one of the larger "family" rooms.

Loved this hotel. It was beautiful and in a great location. The rooms were clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. This is a quality hotel with a great atmosphere. There was a cafe with breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had the breakfast buffet and it offered a variety of options. We also ha s afternoon tea on the outside porch.
