Two years ago, after my first stay at St. Ermin’s, I raved about all aspects of the hotel, and am happy to do so again. My week there, to speak to members of Parliament, an easy 10-minute walk from Caxton St., was perfect in every way. From Mr. Ahmad’s welcome at the front desk to Danielle’s bidding farewell, I was treated like royalty. My room was the perfect size for traveling solo and looked out toward Westminster Abby. The TV, bedding, and bath were first-rate. The location could not be more perfect for exploring Westminster and beyond. I was able to walk to the West End for a play, the Courtauld Art Gallery, Horse Guards Parade, and Westminster Catholic Cathedral for Mass. Buckingham Palace is just quick stroll away. The neighborhood is quiet, and the hotel’s courtyard, with its lush plantings, is relaxing. I treated a colleague to High Tea in the lovely tea room, and we both were impressed with the traditional fare and superb service by Ali, who helped accommodate food allergies. I must also commend one of the waiters in the bar: after I twisted my knee on a day trip, he procured an ice pack for me! Every member of the staff makes guests feel at home. Next June will find me back at my favorite hotel for another speaking engagement at Parliament.

Location. Staff. Accommodations. All the reasons you must stay at the St Ermins. I’ve been to London over ten times and my favorite hotel is, without question, the St Ermin’s. The staff treat you like family. The rooms are some of the best in the city. You’re a block from the St James Tube stop. You can walk to all the highlights around Big Ben, London Eye, Westminster Abbey, St James Park, etc. Daily breakfast is also a highlight. If the gym was bigger, this would be the perfect hotel!!

This is a 5 star hotel, no doubt. The only thing keeping me from giving the 5th star is we had a bit of a hiccup at check in. We had two rooms, after an overnight flight we did get there about 90 minutes before check in time (I am Titanium Elite), so we checked in and went to the bar to grab something to eat. After about 90 minutes we headed back and were told a room would be ready "shortly". About an hour later we got the first room. It took another two hours and two more inquiries before the second room. Beyond that silliness, the food, the service, the rooms were all top shelf. Porters greeting you were super friendly. Front-desk, though maybe not quite as competent as I would have liked in that no one owned the fact we had been waiting hours for our room, were still very friendly. Restaurant staff were amazing, food was first rate. Would we go back? Absolutely!

Amazing experience at this iconic hotel. Great location, beautiful rooms and decor throughout, and the most attentive staff who went above and beyond to please their guests. Fantastic breakfast and lively and buzzing bar. Coupled with the happy hour in the evenings where drinks and snacks are served in the forecourt and lobby area, it was tempting to just stay put and enjoy a home away from home, which I'm thinking this will be for future visits to London. Can't speak highly enough of this property.

The excellent customer service meets you at the reception, welcomes you for a friendly wine and meet, and wows you at the Caxton Grill restaurant. Thank you for an excellent stay
