This was our first trip to London and we loved this hotel. The location was great - we walked to most attractions. It was also near a tube station. The front desk and concierge were both very helpful in arranging transportation to the airport, etc. Everyone was friendly and personable. We spent some time on the outdoor terrace every day having a few drinks and snacks. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Bathrooms very nice.

A stopover in London was a prime opportunity to get all the kids in one place for a rare and much need reconnect. With my son travelling up after work in the city and my Wife, Daughter and I flying in to Heathrow the stage was set for a good day of sites, food and of course beers. This location could not be better as it's on top of St Paul tube station and is a brisk walk to all the sites London has to offer. Our day was well planned and with the London eye, Dungeons and sea life centres all done we retreeted to our Family room. The rooms are well kept and with 2 large beds and a large spacial footon we all had room to move. Fyi we have a 22yr son and 16yr Daughter so hope that helps. Staff are attentive and warm and the hotel is qurkie which means it has great charm (see the photo of us 4 trying to fit in their lift very funny). The bar is well stocked and surprisingly reasonable for London prices and the breakfast buffet is worth the add-on. Overall a great stay in a very nice part of town.... but you will pay for it and that's expected Breakfast is great

The St. Ermin's is a great hotel with a historic past that helped England turn the table on warfare during both world wars and the cold war. The Lobby is elegant, the rooms are cozy and the bar offers a warm setting.

We stayed six nights at the St, Ermine's. Its a lovely hotel in an upscale area, with an attached bar and restaurant (the Caxton Grill). The ,lobby and court yard are very pretty. Rooms are very good, confrontable, with tea and coffee. The location is ideal for central London! St. James Park Underground station, on the district and circle lines, is a block from the hotel, St. James Park itself a couple of blocks. Within a ten minute walk is Buckingham Palace, Churchill's War Room, Westminster Abby, Parliament, Big Ben and just a little further the National Gallery at Trafalgar Square. It's a wonderful location. The area currently has construction going on as most of central London seems to have. There are coffee shops pubs and restaurants in the area. It is quiet on the weekend in this area of London, so if you are looking for a lively nightlife this is not the best location. However, for a great staff, great location for central London attractions, in a very pretty hotel, very close to a Tube station, this ia a great Hotel.

This is an old hotel in a good location with nice rooms and very nice staff. Rooms are similar in size and shape to most other London four star hotels. Our only challenge was staff’s English was not good since just about all of them are not from England. Breakfasts were very well done and restaurant offered a great menu and food is very good but service could be a bit slow. Tried the afternoon tea and they did a great job on it.
