Reviews for The Stafford London

The elegant Stafford

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

The location is great. It’s in the heart of London next to Green Park, a short distance from Buckingham Palace. The main hotel is elegant and we had planned to have our room there BUT because it was my husband’s birthday they “upgraded” us to a larger room in the adjacent building. Our room was great, spacious and a very large bathroom. I have mixed emotions about our room since I never saw one in the main hotel. However, when it was raining and we wished to dine in the main hotel it was not convenient. Also the step out of our room was quite deep so definitely not handicap accessible. We used Disney Points for our stay so our room felt “free” because we had no other use for our points. The Michael Cain restaurant was VERY pricey. I would not choose to eat there again as their vegetarian menu is weak and expensive. The wine sommelier, Sara, is great at her job. She is interesting, knowledgeable and professional. The included breakfasts are delicious. I have never had a more beautiful and yummy yogurt bowl breakfast.

A Hidden Gem (and a Home Away From Home)!

We had an absolutely lovely experience! We stayed in one of the newer rooms (which was stunning and certainly nicer than the older rooms). The staff were exceptional and made everything happen for us. The restaurant is also gorgeous and of course it is an added bonus that it now has a Michelin Star! It is worth going to relax in the American Bar alone as the courtyard is like an Oasis amoungst the hussle and bustle of the city. We will most certainly be returning (again)!

It's all about the staff at The Stafford! My favorite hotel in London and probably in the world! If you can't stay there stop by the bar...not to be missed. Look it up when you're there.

My cousin and I had the most fabulous trip! The Stafford London was the most perfect, wonderful hotel, and we could not be any happier!

The staff was amazing, and yes, please let Alan and Nick know how much they helped us, as this was my very first trip to London!

We so appreciated the perks, and enjoyed the wine in our room!
