Very friendly staff and good food . 2 nights into my 3 night stay . Centrally located . Breakfast is ok not great . Staff at TJ@51 very attentive . We found a huge spider crawling on the bed the first night !!! Scary … managed to kill it but not a good experience :( . In the rooms they have these huge mugs that you have to use for an espresso and a tea !! Never experienced in any star hotel for that matter but certainly don’t expect a 4.5-5 star hotel to not provide coffee cups in the room . Some more attention to detail would be good

From the moment we arrived and were greeted so warmly as if we were family, we were escorted to our upgraded suite. This was the start of a perfect week's vacation! Our suite was elegant and comfortable. The hotel amenities exceeded our every expectation. The location of the hotel is perfect for shopping, theater and museums...so we walked everywhere. Concierge service was warm, friendly and sincere. We couldn't ask for a more perfect 6 days away from home...because staying at this hotel felt like we were at home.

As a loyal guest for nearly 20 years, I am genuinely saddened to see what this hotel has become. What was once a symbol of warmth, personalized service, and genuine hospitality has lost its way. Recently, prices for everything—rooms, food, and amenities—have shot through the roof, with food prices increasing by 300%. Yet, the quality of service has plummeted. The hotel now levies a 12.5% service charge and a 5% voluntary tip, which I find entirely unjustified given the decline in staff attentiveness and overall standards. This hotel used to be renowned for its "Tajness"—a true sense of care and emotional connection with guests. Today, it caters to celebrities and high-ranking officials, leaving long-term guests like me feeling ignored and undervalued. Service is inconsistent, and basic amenities are neglected. Once a decent facility, the gym is now a disgrace—unclean, unhygienic, and tiny. It's been turned into a spa space that only a handful of guests can use simultaneously. The staff seem more focused on pampering VIPs than attending to regular guests, which starkly contrasts the warm, welcoming atmosphere it once offered. Considerable effort was once made to offer thoughtful services, such as providing takeaway meals for travelers with dietary needs—something I greatly appreciated. These services are gone or overcharged (GBP 80 for a small dish), emphasizing profit over guest care. Despite multiple attempts to raise these issues directly with management, I have seen no meaningful action or acknowledgment. The silence and inaction speak volumes about the hotel's priorities shifting from guest satisfaction to maximization of profits. This experience has left me deeply disappointed. I no longer recommend this hotel to anyone seeking genuine hospitality and a welcoming environment. The decline is evident, and seeing such a once-proud property lose its soul is heartbreaking. Please save money and seek alternatives that truly value and care for their guests.

A second home for us!! We had two apartments connected- so was extremely convenient and comfortable! Excellent breakfast at Kona including India food- especially the crisp Dosas!! Superb hospitality under Area Director Ms. Mehrnavaz, and Hotel Manager Mr. Joy Jacob. Also Mathew was very attentive to our needs. Special mention for F&B- Mr. Samriddh Taneja who went out of the way to accommodate our demands and Ms. Urmi!!
