If you want pure indulgence..stay here!
This was our 5th stay at Buckingham Gate and a thoroughly enjoyable experience from arrival to departure. We are over the moon about their service and hospitality which is impeccable. Their foot baths, wellness center, and fresh fruit are lovely. The reception, butler, and housekeeping service were outstanding. Mathew is always nearby to add humor and fun to the occasion. Iara had endless smiles each day for us. Anu went above and beyond with flowers, and any and all housekeeping needs. And, Zuzana! What a wonder woman! All of the concierge (Jon, Nelson, Alex and Kalman) will tend to your needs. Vasi, Peter, Fransisco, Miles greet you daily. Our housekeeper Nina and others set a high standard each and every day. Their cleanliness and attention to detail is delightful. All the reception staff are welcoming and highly knowledgeable. These are the absolute nicest people. If you want pure indulgence this is the place for you! We extend our gratitude to all! Thank you to Joy for everything you and your staff do.

Another great stay !
Our second stay at Taj51 and we are already looking forward to next time. We were given a lovely suite in Kings with comfy beds, and a well equipped and spacious bathroom and kitchen. The team left a birthday cake and balloons for my daughter which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. I visited the Spa again and couldn’t fault it. All the staff were welcoming and so attentive, thanks to everyone in the team for another memorable stay.

Nice location, but not an inviting stay.
Expensive place, almost no electrical outlets...had to unplug the lamps by the bed to recharge my electronics. Staff cold ( I think they were trying to look so professional)...very little smiles. On the way out I felt ambushed...asked me to please give them a "Group Gratuity" of over 50 GBP for their staff for their exceptional service. With the staff standing around I felt like this was extortion, and it should have been previously disclosed when booking. I paid it, but felt compulsion. Decent location, but I will never go back. You can find a much better place to stay, and a better attitude that shows warm hospitality than this.
