Urban Villa in London, England
Like a boutique hotel melded with a cool friend’s West End apartment, Urban Villa – part of the collection of – is a fresh collusion of style, hominess and quirky individuality. It doesn’t aim to be a trendy hotel. It doesn’t even aim to be a hotel in the traditional sense, meaning that it operates from the concept of hospitality as a way of life, not a tagline. There’s an organic coffee shop and health food restaurant run by a pair of friends, and a chic lounge that openly welcomes laptop loungers in the afternoon. Rooms come with a full kitchen and a glass-enclosed winter garden (the ones in the Winter Garden Villas are bigger and have a sun lounger). Stay for a day, or stay for a month.
Linger over a cup of sustainably sourced coffee, a fresh-baked scone, and the morning paper at a sunny corner table. Set out to explore the affluent neighborhood of Chiswick, strolling by Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian houses on the banks of the River Thames. Duck into a buzzy café on Chiswick High Road for lunch, and pick up a rare volume of Tennyson at Foster’s Bookshop. Return for a bourbon on the rocks at Sour Diesel.

Reviews for Urban Villa
I've stayed at Uban Villa on a number of occasions with my boyfriend and 2 other couples. We usually hire an appartment each for a weekend or for 1 night if we go to a rugby match. We have noticed that the price is gradually going up each time we book even when we book months in advance. This would be more acceptable if they had better check-in and check-out times other than the 3:00pm check-in to 11:00am check-out next morning. We have discovered that other hotels in the vicinity offer better value because check-in is 2:00pm and check- out 12:00pm next day. We don't have to panic and rush breakfast and pack so that we check out on time. You really have to spend 2 nights at Urban Villa to get value time for the price. The apartments are nice, but so are the rooms in the other hotels that have more amenities.

2 of is stayed here for 1 night. The price was very cheap for any London room... but for these villas it’s an absolute bargain! Perfectly decorated and furnished. Accessorised with high end fixtures and fittings. A short walk from the train made getting to twickenham a breeze. Upon returning we decided to make use of the bar. The young girl working was absolutely fantastic.. I think her name was Christina. She couldn’t help enough... and made a mean “old fashioned” They even let us eat a takeaway in the bar area and we sat up till the early hours talking and joking. This is our new place to stay from now on when we are in the area! See you soon.
My wife and I have stayed here several times when we have been to meetings in London. The rooms are clean, modern and stylish. Love the little glass balcony around the appartment with fabulous views. Well equipped kitchen, and a convenient small supermarket next door with enough choice to eat well. Railway station at Kew Bridge is within easy walking distance, with frequent trains to Waterloo. Overall, friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere. Lovely place to relax.

This is a fantastic, boutique-style hotel; I really enjoyed the experience. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Bedding and amenities were spotless and they even had a handy Nespresso machine. The fully enclosed balcony has loads of space, a great view and large windows which can be vented for lots of fresh air. There is a small bar in the lobby which is very charming and they make the best cocktails. There is a gym and laundry room (free to use!) which really came in handy. The local bus stop is barely a 3 minute walk, and the tube station is a short 10 minute walk...London close without the London noise and bother. But the best part of Urban Villa was the staff. Very friendly, engaging and helpful. I had lots of questions about local restaurants, shops and transportation and they were eager to offer whatever assistance I needed. So many times you come across staff that are rude, bored, abrupt (or all three) but that was never the case at Urban Villa. The staff was wonderful!!

My husband and I wanted a place to stay that was affordable and kind of close to Twickenham Stadium. After one day of being there the staff was very helpful about getting around. The room was so comfortable and very clean. I highly recommend this hotel!
