Urban Villa in London, England
Like a boutique hotel melded with a cool friend’s West End apartment, Urban Villa – part of the collection of – is a fresh collusion of style, hominess and quirky individuality. It doesn’t aim to be a trendy hotel. It doesn’t even aim to be a hotel in the traditional sense, meaning that it operates from the concept of hospitality as a way of life, not a tagline. There’s an organic coffee shop and health food restaurant run by a pair of friends, and a chic lounge that openly welcomes laptop loungers in the afternoon. Rooms come with a full kitchen and a glass-enclosed winter garden (the ones in the Winter Garden Villas are bigger and have a sun lounger). Stay for a day, or stay for a month.
Linger over a cup of sustainably sourced coffee, a fresh-baked scone, and the morning paper at a sunny corner table. Set out to explore the affluent neighborhood of Chiswick, strolling by Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian houses on the banks of the River Thames. Duck into a buzzy café on Chiswick High Road for lunch, and pick up a rare volume of Tennyson at Foster’s Bookshop. Return for a bourbon on the rocks at Sour Diesel.

Reviews for Urban Villa
This hotel was very hip and boutique and great value for the price. We stayed overnight after watching England Vs Wales rugby at Twickenham and were very happy with location and hotel itself. All of this went out of the window when our alarm in our bathroom started going off at 7.30am in the morning waking us up. It was such a loud high pitched sound which went on for about 20 minutes whilst 3 different staff members came up to try and switch it off. Unfortunately the hotel was full and so we couldn't switch rooms until the alarm was turned off. Eventually a lady came in who looked like she worked in the maintenance team and she finally made it stop. All we got that morning was a verbal apology from the hotel which I thought was terrible. I understand these kinds of things happen but to not even offer us breakfast for our troubles or a discounted rate for our room for that night I thought was awful customer service. Because of the way this was handled and the poor customer service we received we will never consider staying here again.

Moving back to UK/London following Expat Life & was relocated into Urban Villa & Loved it! The staff were great, there is easy access to Buses, a short walk for Trains, good Road Connections & Parking for Cars. Be careful with the Parking, sometimes you need to display a permit otherwise you will be fined by a Private Car Parking Company, this happened to me...the guys at the Hotel did sort it out though :) Thankfully!

Spacious studio room with well equipped studio room. We were in the tenth floor so had fantastic views from our winter balcony. Very come room and spacious bathroom. Very friendly staff. The cafe has very limited hours. Useful underground parking.

Was there for a week on business visit. Quite a pleasant stay. Check in was breeze and found the room clean. Was lucky to get a room with a view of the highway and the Audi showroom. Kitchen area had a mini fridge, electric stove and adequate utensils like boiling pot, plates, cutlery and glasses. And yeah, a OTG as well as a dishwasher. Sainsury store nearby makes it easy to buy vegetables, meat etc. Needless to say, did not try the restaurant at the hotel. The lobby at the hotel was a nice place to sit and enjoy a nice chat with colleagues/friends. The music was fantastic (at all times!) Hotel has a gym as well as a washing machine/dryer but did not use them since my visit was a little less than a week. Connectivity to tube station was very good. Walk across the road behind the hotel and you can get a bus to South Ealing / Ealing Broadway from where you can find tubes to Central London or elsewhere. Overall, a very pleasant experience!!
Booked a room at this hotel on the basis they organised and hosted small get partys/meetings with friends as they clearly state on their site and the email you receive a day before you check in encouraging you to be social and invite friends over for a party. I booked this for my birthday and as soon as I checked in was told by a rude lady that no guests and partys are allowed. I laughed in disbelief and informed her you've sent me an email stating not do we encourage you to be social, we will organise an event/party for you and your guests. After a long conversation, she agreed to let guests stay until 12. Come 12pm a couple of friends who had gone outside to smoke were refused back in and waited one hour in the cold until I had to come down and tell the manager if he did not let them in we would be leaving immediately due to false advertising and misleading information. Would never book an event here again!
