Urban Villa in London, England
Like a boutique hotel melded with a cool friend’s West End apartment, Urban Villa – part of the collection of – is a fresh collusion of style, hominess and quirky individuality. It doesn’t aim to be a trendy hotel. It doesn’t even aim to be a hotel in the traditional sense, meaning that it operates from the concept of hospitality as a way of life, not a tagline. There’s an organic coffee shop and health food restaurant run by a pair of friends, and a chic lounge that openly welcomes laptop loungers in the afternoon. Rooms come with a full kitchen and a glass-enclosed winter garden (the ones in the Winter Garden Villas are bigger and have a sun lounger). Stay for a day, or stay for a month.
Linger over a cup of sustainably sourced coffee, a fresh-baked scone, and the morning paper at a sunny corner table. Set out to explore the affluent neighborhood of Chiswick, strolling by Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian houses on the banks of the River Thames. Duck into a buzzy café on Chiswick High Road for lunch, and pick up a rare volume of Tennyson at Foster’s Bookshop. Return for a bourbon on the rocks at Sour Diesel.

Reviews for Urban Villa
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great atmosphere and decor. Relaxed feel. We stayed in the executive apartments and it was fantastic, had everything you need. Great place and would highly recommend staying here to anyone considering it.

We stayed at Urban Villa recently for 6 nights during a family UK holiday. It was an easy taxi ride from Heathrow airport, and quick checkin - just what we needed after a long flight. Having a Sainsbury's and ATM right next door is super convenient, allowing us to get settled in right away without having to travel afar to buy the basics. We had a couple of minor issues that could be easily corrected. We booked the room for two adults and one child, but the sofa bed was not made for us on arrival, and we only had two towels for the shower. We called housekeeping to get the bed made for us, which was promptly done. But we needed to tell reception a number of times to get the right number of towels in our bathroom, and seemed to be an ongoing problem. The kitchen was well appointed, but was missing a few simple essential items such as a sponge to clean up splashes and could do with some more cooking utensils. Even though the accommodation is close to the M4, you get minimal background noise. We slept very well in the beds, and were thankful for the decent laundry facilities downstairs. Public transport is close by, with the 65 bus stopping right outside, and the train and tube having nearby stops. We used both the train and tube, depending on where we had to go in London. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay at Urban Villa and we would return again.
If you want a reasonably priced room for the night then this is perfectly acceptable. Clean and functional with a good kitchen area. Bathroom well appointed with decent shower gel/shampoo/conditioner. BUT the fridge hummed all night and there was nowhere to get real fresh air. The breakfast box was ghastly - ersatz orange juice, a cake and a cereal bar, one pod each for the nespresso machine and hit milk. Yuck! There were some dirty marks on the carpet and lumpy pillows. Appreciated the free bottle of cava and the barman was charming. Easy reach of central London.

first time coming to the hotel and my first impression was it was amazing the looks the environment i loved it and the welcoming we had was very nice the room was fantastic havent seen anything like that before i would really like to say you have done a great job with the rooms how ever the staff in the night either need changing or training on how to speak to guests the man in the black blazer was very rude to my wife and my self making us rush because he has his own work to do not allowing the girl to have a convo with us being very rude not having interest in us not helping us scaring us with irrelevant story's showing his temper towards his college in front of us i was just really shocked it was a real downer after everything i felt sorry for the poor girl she was very nice to us and helpful we will be returning back to the hotel hpefully your night staff are more plesant

I will start with the positives. Good location for getting into London by tube and bus service to underground Lots of nice places to eat close by We were upgraded to a room with a sofa which was good if not would have to sit On bed. Bed was large and comfortable. The room was a good size with kitchen area and table and chairs. No noise from other rooms . All staff were helpful and polite. We looked out over a court yard. The bar looked nice but we didn't use it. The company asked for feed back and responded very quickly. Negative points. The room really needed a 're paint walls very marked. Trying to get in the underground parking is not clear at all but once explained to us it was fine. You need to drive in get a ticket leave your car and get the ticket validated at reception you need to repeat this every time you use the car. The housekeeping needs to be brought up to a better standard. The valance on the bed was very marked. There was no shower gel or soap the guy cleaning the room said he had run out next day I left the containers out with the tops off as a reminder but they were not filled up this was done when I asked the bin in bathroom was left with rubbish in not nice to have other people's bathroom waste. We were told to leave dirty towels on the room if we wanted them replaced we did this and they were not the second day no bath mat left. Tea etc not replaced until I asked. There are no utensilsfor the kitchen. The bathroom door made a dreadful noise but was sorted out when we asked for it to be looked at. Over all we enjoyed staying and would do so again but please get a grip on your house keeping
