We loved our second stay at the Hotel Bel Air. It's like being at a private club, very quiet with personal service in a garden setting and with the feel of a sprawling hacienda. Rooms are unique with fireplaces and lovely patios where you can sit out and enjoy the mild climate. We enjoyed our meals at the Wolfgang Puck restaurant, which is a special place for a lunch with friends. We look forward to an opportunity to return!

Hotel Bel-Air is as close to perfection as a hotel can get. My family of five just spent a week there on vacation, and we all agreed the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Above all, the service was absolutely impeccable. There was not a person on the staff with whom we dealt who wasn't friendly, helpful, courteous, and accommodating of any request. A hotel as beautiful as Hotel Bel-Air might not need to go above and beyond for its guests, but they did for us in every respect. We booked a Family Time special, which was for two connecting rooms. Check-in was a breeze, and we were upgraded to a two-bedroom suite. The Family Time special provides a $150/day breakfast credit, and we ate all but one day at the hotel (we had Sunday brunch at their sister property, the Beverly Hills Hotel). The food and service were outstanding. One day we had a tour scheduled in the morning, and for some reason the restaurant was very busy and it took awhile to take our order and bring our food, even though we had said we were in a bit of a hurry. Without even asking, they comped us the entire cost of our meal as a credit on our bill (which was helpful because we ran over our $150 on most days), and someone at the front desk apologized for it at checkout! These things happen, and the restaurant (and hotel) couldn't have handled this situation any better. Beyond the staff, we loved our rooms, the grounds, the pool, the gym, and the spa. I told the kids on our way home that we'll never stay in a hotel that nice ever again. Given the price point, the hotel isn't for everyone, but if you ever want to splurge on a truly special hotel experience, you cannot go wrong with the Hotel Bel-Air.

Hotel Bel Air is an amazing getaway close to city but in the country side. Very private hotel where you can be on your own and eat great food from Wolgang Puck's Restaurant or bar. (The Burger in the Bar is amazing). Service is great through out. The setting of the Hotel is incredible and relaxing.

My wife and I booked the Canyon Suite for our Anniversary weekend. Ok, the price stung a bit... When I arrived I was very happy. The room was beautiful, and the outdoor fireplace and Jacuzzi were great. The view off the patio was spectacular. Saw a few Hawks, and some parrots. Brought a bottle of champagne and toasted our happiness. Bedding was spectacular. I am in construction and they really paid attention to the finer points of the suite. Heated floor in the bathroom, accent lighting, AC was ultra quiet. Everything top notch. I bet each unit cost them $600k to build.
