Been to a lot of hotels in LA, but this one won me over a landslide. The room was superb, had a balcony, turntable with vinyl records (Kenny Rogers, anyone?) Avalon, one of the premier clubs in LA is literally next door, the Capitol building is on the other side of the street. You know, where Sinatra used to record the albums of his heyday. Totally recommended! No doubt (just like the Terminator) I'll be back!

Before booking this hotel i read many reviews about the noise from the bar so emailed reception and asked which rooms were the quietest. This meant offcourse getting a more expensive room but i think it was definitely worth it. We stayed in one of the Vine suites, it was so big and so well decorated. The bed was amazingly comfortable and everything was very clean. The hotel itself is in a pretty good location, we walked into the heart of hollywood a couple of times which only took about 10 minutes. There is also a few restaurants right near the hotel which were good. We had room service from the hotel one night and this was very tasteful. They hotel let us check in early which was good and all the staff were friendly. They have a rooftop open bar which was very nice. The only thing i didnt like was when we arrived there was no clear signs as to where to check in, we didnt know to go up the lift so we hauled our bags up two flights of stairs with no offer of help. Otherwise overall a great stay and would stay again.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at the Redbury in Hollywood. Our suite was very cool complete with records and a record player, which our 13-year-old son thought was really neat. The Hollywood Decor and overall feel of the hotel did not disappoint, and this is why we booked this hotel. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom was clean, large, modern, and filled with awesome products. The suite was large. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars was the loud noise coming from the courtyard bar until two in the morning. We had requested a quiet room given that we are traveling with kids, and even earplugs did not help. Then, we were again woken up by the screams of a race right outside on the street quite early in the am. This would not deter me from staying here again, I will just be sure to get a differently located room the next time. Breakfast was delicious, and our son said that the waffles with caramel were the best he's ever had. I was surprised that the room service/restaurant had hours when they were closed. We arrived at the hotel after a long cross country flight at 2pm and nothing was open for us-- not even room service. Overall it was a cool place and we'd return if ever in Hollywood. Thank you, Redbury-- it was fun!

I loved this hotel!!! Great location, beautiful rooms. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was two things... 1st we were there for a 5k run and had to get up early. They placed us in a gorgeous room with a beautiful view of the courtyard but didn't mention there would be a DJ playing loud music in the courtyard until 2am. Needless to say 4am came rather quickly. 2nd was they have a great bar and restaurant for evenings but nothing really for breakfast. I would definitely stay there again. But I just know now to bring earplugs and make different arrangements for breakfast. Thank you Redbury for a great stay!!!
