I travel to this location for work. Always enjoy my stay. It is an excellent location, service is always great and the property is very well kept property. Highly recommended it for business and personal visits. I have platinum status with Marriott and get extra perks from that perspective too.

Terrible experience at this hotel. Avoid this hotel if you expect great customer service. First time I have ever been locked out of a hotel room. My card was compromised while traveling to LA and when the hotel couldn't settle the prior night's incidental charges they locked us out of our room, which we discovered after getting back to the hotel, tired and exhausted from assorted activities. Keep in mind the hotel has already charged us several thousand dollars without issue. Instead of giving us till the next morning to have Amex resolve the issue and help the hotel run the charge through, which they would happily do, the hotel manager literally held us hostage at the counter until we paid with another card. Couldn't even run up to the room to go to the bathroom. I can honestly say this was a first. Never had a hotel treat me like a criminal before and over $500! Keep in mind, I'm a returning guest and have been a Marriott Bonvoy member for years. If this is how they treat members, can you imagine how they treat anyone else? Needless to say, won't be staying here again.

We make frequent trips to Los Angeles and always choose to stay at this W, unless it's sold out! Approaching the destination the drive is through charming Westwood Village and a residential area. Quiet, pretty and inviting. Every single arrival is very welcoming; from the valets, porters, check in desk - each person takes the time to make eye contact and say hello. Brewer, Joe, Sean, Zoe - each amazing at the front desk to make sure everything is just so. It's a special property. The consistent high level of service is remarkable for hotel. For on-sight dining the Hideout is super.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the W Hotel in Los Angeles. The staff provided exceptional service, and DJ in reception was not only welcoming but also delightful to converse with. The hotel's prime location and excellent car valet service added to the overall positive experience. Thank you for making our stay so delightful. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

The W exceeded every expectation and more. Do not hesitate to choose this hotel for all your LA needs. They were above and beyond accommodating to my son and I who just had emergency surgery for a broken ankle. The people at the valet, to the front desk, to the housekeeping to the in room dining servers, the staff was the best I’ve had in any hotel and I’ve traveled extensively. The surrounding area near the hotel is lovely and UCLA is a stunning backdrop to this lovely hotel.
