This hotel is a bit distant from the main part of town but not that far. The property is very noice and personnel helpful. There are quite a number of steps to get to the rooms and pool area. There are scheduled shuttles to the town center. If you are looking for a bit of isolation, a swimming pool this may be it. In my opinion it is overpriced for what it is. Airport transportation is charged at $10 per room for a 10 minute ride. If you have light sleep like me a neighbor rooster woke me up at 1:45 AM.

Huge room, nice view, one of the best breakfast I ever had in hotel, free shuttle to the city and airport, and nice pool. Staff was nice enough to help me to call the your agency even when I didn't book the tour with them. Situated in between city and airport so can travel to both in relatively short time (10 mins) but if you are lazy to walk or wait for shuttle then maybe a hotel in the city would be more suitable for you. Was intending to give 5 stars rating for this hotel except for the following: (1) Saturday night (21 Oct) had an extremely loud musical show opposite the hotel which lasted beyond 12am; and (2) the hotel accidentally keyed in an expense which I didn't incur (although rectify promptly, it shouldn't occur at all).

For the most part, a great property. Rooms are quite a generous size…always nice to have the extra space…with a very comfortable bed. Staff I thought were fantastic throughout the property. Nice medium size pool and lounging area with really a wonderful view of central LP. Very much a quiet, peaceful setting, which we thought was great. Very frequent shuttles for the short trip into town (only a 20 min walk if you want to hoof it) with staff always willing to accommodate. Breakfast options were limited...combination a la carte and buffet. So why not a 5 rating? A few issues. Our rooms were to the back of the property…70 steps to our room from drop off just below the front desk, another 17 to our childrens rooms. If you struggle with steps, have knee issues, etc., careful. Struggled with internet throughout, in fact could not obtain in our room. Could pick up access in the pool area or office. Gym is really below average, especially for a property labeling itself as a spa. Extremely foul smell (sewage) from the drain in our childrens room, which could never be fully mitigated despite staff attempts to do so. Still, a nice, comfortable relaxing place to stay. Consider the above when booking, but I would recommend.

Excellence hotel. Friendly staffs very attentive. We stayed there for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Food at the restaurant was so yummy. The free shuttle service made us so convenience to get to town and the hotel was so kind to take us upon our request. The Asian food selections for breakfast are perfect we enjoyed so much and all staffs at the restaurant were very attentive and so kind to us. Overall we had a great stay during our holiday in Luang Prabang and sure we will stay there again.

We stayed here for three days. Pros: - Nice view, friendly staffs, free shuttle service to the town area, nice resturant Cons: - I think one of great advantage of this hotel is its swimming pool. Unfortunately, however, during our stay it was unsatisfactory. The pool was like green tea latte, a typical example of poor maintenance. It was the worst swimming pool that I have ever experienced in South East Asia. I told the reception about this. It got improved next day, but still can see water-bloom floating in the water. This needs to be improved if the hotel really cares about their guests.
