It was our first time in Luang Prabang, and we picked Kiridara based on other reviews. Rest-assured, it was a smart choice. The location was great. While not in the center, there is a market super close and a supermarket about 10 minutes away. For the rest the hotel offers a free shuttle which is on call until about 9 pm, and takes you more or less everywhere you need to go. The rooms were clean, nicely layed out and offered everything you need. If something was wrong, it was fixed quickly. The pool was refreshing and offered a great view. The drinks from then pool bar were delicious. The highlight was the breakfast. There was a small, but nice buffet plus a menu. The a la carte menu was the biggest plus. You could pick up to four dishes, each from one category, like eggs, hearty or sweet. Be sure to eat yourself through all the options, while you stay - it‘s worth it! All in all a great stay, and we will come back to Kiridara for sure for our next stay.

If you are tired, jet-lagged, overwhelmed by all those new impressions in Southern Asia, and not accustomed to 35 degrees in March, Kiridara is the hotel you need. The hotel is a true oasis of calmness and comfort that takes care of your needs. Stylish, spacious and comfortable rooms, a beautiful swimming pool, friendly faces at the reception desk and terrific food at the hotel's restaurant were all that we needed to feel truly at ease in this new environment. Great base camp for day trips in this exciting country, where you can come back, relax and enjoy great food in the evening, to refill your batteries before going out the day after. Many thanks for having us - my whole family (including teenage kids) loved it.

I stayed here for a few days in January at the end of my time in Luang Prabang. The hotel is very central and only a 5-10 min ride away to the centre or you can walk. The hotel offers a shuttle and unlike lots of hotels this is not timed but you can get a ride anytime (up to 2100 I think) and pick up back. The hotel grounds are lovely and there were couples and maybe only one family so not too many kids around so that was good for sitting peacefully at pool area. The pool area was lovely lots of space to sit and a bar. The bar wasn’t always manned but you could go up to the restaurant to order. The food and drinks were lovely and the breakfast one of the better ones (I was in Asia for 2 months so this was at the top end!) My room was lovely and big and lots of space. All in all a great stay and staff so helpful and kind. I loved my stay.

We spent a whole week at Kiridara. What a lovely place. Just a short walk from the center of Luang Prabang. That makes it very quiet, in comparison to the excitement of the town. Restaurant is absolutely gorgeous for breakfast and dinner. Lovely pool. If you prefer not to walk, Kiridara offers free shuttle to town. Much appreciated and efficient. Special thanks to Simon and Léa. Joyce and Normand, Montreal, Canada

A delightful boutique hotel! Lovely setting and amazing views from the restaurant and rooms. Very friendly staff and they went out of their way to help me arrange a cake for my husband for his birthday whilst we were there (Leah and Simon). A great place to stay, close enough to the town centre and the hotel provides free transport 8 am-9 pm which as so useful!
