Best place on the island
We had another wonderful week with fantastic service. The breakfast is magnificent. The pools are so warm, even if the sun is not at its hottest. When our flight was cancelled and we returned to the hotel in the early hours, the night staff checked us back in and were most helpful. Stay here or miss out on a great experience.

Simply the best!
After visiting Madeira previously & going to Reid’s for drinks, we decided that we wanted to return & stay there. I’m so glad we made that decision. What a wonderful hotel. Everything met & surpassed our expectations. The hotel is just beautiful. All the photos around the hotel are so interesting. The gardens are stunning. I love all the secret areas where you can sit & take in the views. We did the garden tour & heritage tour. So interesting & the guides are incredibly knowledgeable. The food is spectacular & of the highest quality. We loved the view of Funchal from the bar after dark. The live entertainment was fabulous. Every single member of staff goes above & beyond to make sure everything is perfect & each guest is made to feel so special. We look forward to returning in December.

A Wonderful Stay at Reid’s Palace
I cannot rate Reid’s Palace highly enough. The hotel is perfectly located and is steeped in history. The staff are best we have ever experienced in all our travel, constantly going beyond our expectations and they continually go out of their way to deliver a fantastic experience. This was our second stay and it was lovely to be welcomed back. We have already booked to return next year.

An extraordinary value! Reid's Palace Hotel is a handsome historic property featuring breathtaking water views, exotic gardens, a full range of amenities and delicious and varied food options. We found the staff to be very helpful and dedicated to making our 4-day stay with them a holiday in every sense. We appreciated the extra attention the staff paid to getting us in and out of the airport, circumventing the crowds and shortening our travel and wait times. This is Luxury Link at its best.
