Another Wonderful Holiday
We could not imagine travelling to Madeira without staying at Reid's. The management and staff seem to have refined the hotel's offering over many years to the point where everything is just as one would wish it to be. We cannot wait to return.

A wonderful winter escape!
We enjoyed a lovely week at the Reid Palace hotel in January, a welcome escape from the wet and windy UK winter. Warm sunny days, we enjoyed walking and the gardens. These would be particularly beautiful in Spring. The hotel was really gorgeous with glorious coastal views and close enough to walk to Funchal. The service was excellent and with delicious food and wonderful service. .

A must visit
Well worth a visit for a nose round ,a coffee and the ambiance of a class venue Regularly visit the lovely Italian restaurant Villa Cipriani which is excellent

Almost magical afternoon tea
We visited Reid's Palace again after 9 years to enjoy the afternoon tea. This was, once again, a fantastic experience in any department. This time we sat on the terrace with fantastic view of Funchal, the sun was shining so everything was great. The waiters were out of this world. I congratulate them for the professional way they served us. The sandwiches, scones, chocolate and the tea, of course, were very, very good. As soon as we travel again to Madeira, stay assure, that we will be visiting this place once again. Lovely experience!

Perfect location
old fashion charm in a traditional building , friendly staff and practical shuttle into town. We enjoyed the spring weather in January

An extraordinary value! Reid's Palace Hotel is a handsome historic property featuring breathtaking water views, exotic gardens, a full range of amenities and delicious and varied food options. We found the staff to be very helpful and dedicated to making our 4-day stay with them a holiday in every sense. We appreciated the extra attention the staff paid to getting us in and out of the airport, circumventing the crowds and shortening our travel and wait times. This is Luxury Link at its best.
