Obviously priced for luxury, but been on bucket list for ages. Overall experience did not disappoint
Luxurious location and quiet setting on terrace, with live background piano accompaniment to add to atmosphere; Highly proficient and welcoming staff; Afternoon tea certainly different and tilted more towards Portuguese cuisine. Decent-size portions; Wide selection of tea choices, with frequent refills on demand; Would have preferred clotted cream to whipped cream (but possibly an over-expectation); We both suffered a mild stomach issue afterwards, but possibly a personal reaction to truffle flavours on some savoury items; Obviously priced for luxury, but we've been wanting to go here for ages and the overall experience did not disappoint.

Beyond Expectations
Another wonderful stay at "Legendary Reids Palace". We are able to visit 3 or 4 times each year, and can't wait for the next one. Everything is special and "top notch", and they make it look easy. Always it is friendly, calm and personable.

Another Wonderful Holiday
We could not imagine travelling to Madeira without staying at Reid's. The management and staff seem to have refined the hotel's offering over many years to the point where everything is just as one would wish it to be. We cannot wait to return.

An extraordinary value! Reid's Palace Hotel is a handsome historic property featuring breathtaking water views, exotic gardens, a full range of amenities and delicious and varied food options. We found the staff to be very helpful and dedicated to making our 4-day stay with them a holiday in every sense. We appreciated the extra attention the staff paid to getting us in and out of the airport, circumventing the crowds and shortening our travel and wait times. This is Luxury Link at its best.
