Stayed at the beginning of October for 2 nights. Energy room great view over the square, clean and roomy. Very comfortable bed, with great linen, fluffy towels and an abundance of toiletries. Radio bar amazing, service and music. The aura team really looked after us and we found all the staff friendly and professional. Will be back.

Rooms a bit tight. Nice terace at the top. Nice bathroom & shower....though not so big. Great location and friendly staff (except for lady running breakfast). Our room smelled a bit but we opened the widow so it was OK.

Excellent hotel in a great location with a clean appearance. Very helpful staff and always welcoming. The rooms would benefit from a tea/coffee machine but excellent standard overall. The square is a great place to spend an evening and the breakfast was good value for money

We stayed at the ME Madrid at the beginning of October. This was our first visit to Madrid. We loved our visit and especially loved the ME Madrid Hotel! It was centrally located and made sightseeing, shopping, eating and exploring fun and easy. The hotel staff, from front desk to service people, were all friendly and helpful. They assisted in booking a flamenco dinner show for us. It was breath taking, amazing and passionate. An experience worth seeing. Everything about the ME was wonderful. The lobby and hotel are beautiful, as is the rooftop terrace and bar (lots of fun, great DJ and amazing drinks)! Our room was spacious, clean, comfy bed and amenities. We we were greeted every time we exited and entered by desk, staff and door personnel. What can you say about a truly luxury experience, except it was an outstanding and exceptional experience! Give the ME Madrid a visit. I know you won't be disappointed.

I stayed here with a group of friends/ colleagues for 2 nights. Really poor as i) the shower was making continual loud noise (shame TripAdvisor doesn't allow me to upload the video but message me if you want a copy) and the mixer wasn't working to mix hot and cold water. Remember this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. I complained. It was supposedly fixed whilst I was away from the room. But only the sound was fixed, not the mixer. So another luke warm shower. So in total I made 2 phone calls, sent 1 email, and 3 counter visits and this still was not resolved by the time I left. I will leave it to you to wander whether this was something the hotel knew about or was just a fluke accident as they suggest. You mean the cleaner was not aware of this if they cleaned before the room was let?? Even with a 20% reduction I paid nearly EUR500 for 2 nights with these facilities, the stress and complaints. You work out if you want something similar. So having left feeling quite robbed by the experience (4* price, not 4* experience), I get home to find out as well as paying the bill on check out, the hotel had also taken out the 100% charge ie I had been charged twice!! 180% of the original fee. I emailed them by 10am. By 1pm I had not heard anything. I called my bank who were sympathetic and put me through to visa. They said it was very unusual for this to happen as at check in it seems a hold of nearly EUR700 was put on my card as well as the EUR 500 I paid. A whopping EuR1200. Wasn't I the lucky one, especially after my facilities experience. Do you know what time the hotel got back to me?? 10pm to say we do not have a hold on your account!! Really?? You were like 9 hours too late!! Their lack of timeliness and laughable response (given there was no longer a hold of EUR700 as my bank had proactively removed it within 20 mins at 1pm). So beware folks, think about where you spend you money. I look forward to the hotels response with some placating words of we value our customers, your experience is important to us, please let us know next time you want to stay with us etc . Truth is it is laughable as that does nothing for the EUR500 and the stress this has caused. I can only say think twice if you want a good experience during your stay in Madrid. You are better off booking an Air BnB and having little expectations. At least you will be at least EUR250 better off! :)
