NH Collection Madrid Palacio de Tepa

I just spent a week at the NH Collection Madrid Palacio de Tepa, and it was one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I’ve had. What truly sets this hotel apart is its people. The staff are professional, warm, and genuinely invested in making one feel welcome. Veronica runs the breakfast service tirelessly. Every morning was a pleasure, with a wonderful spread and the kind of attentive, cheerful service that sets the tone for the whole day. Nuriali and the entire guest services team were outstanding: always helpful, always smiling, and always ready with a great recommendation which I took. Kamal at the front desk made check in easy and friendly, and helped get me the room I'd researched. And then there’s Room 523, my new favorite hotel room anywhere. Tucked away at the end of its own private hallway, it feels less like a hotel room and more like your own little Madrid apartment. It’s quiet, secluded, and wonderfully cozy. The wall of windows floods the room with natural light and lets in a lovely breeze, the bed is supremely comfortable, and the large walk-in shower is a real treat. Thoughtful in-room touches, including an Alexa-enabled speaker, round out the experience. If you want a stylish, central base with a team that truly cares, book Palacio de Tepa, and if you can, ask for Room 523. I can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is part of the NH Collection hotel chains, exclusive and ellegant, but too expensive. Situated a few mins. walk from Puerta del Sol, Madrid's most conjested and buisest areas, which is the exact opposite to the ellegant ambience of the hotel. Not all rooms are renovated, with mainly bath tabs, instead of showers in the bathroom. The services are fine, breakfast is included in the price, with no other option. Overall esperience is good, but too expensive

This hotel is the perfect location from everything! There are restaurants, bars and a train station within a few minutes walk. The hotel itself is STUNNINGGG! The pictures don't even do it justice. We were upgraded upon arrival and were shocked to see that it was a suite. We loved our time here and didn't want to leave! Highly highlyyy recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Madrid. We will definitely be back! :)

The hotel was beautiful, clean, elegant, and centrally located. First off I arrived at 3pm check-in time, room was not ready. Because I’m a platinum Amex member they gave me upgrade after waiting at bar. Front dest women was very cold, rude in my opinion. Next day when I went outside of hotel for fresh air, I almost got robbed/kidnapped ! In day time and next to hotel. 2 men grabbed me by my wrist my very expensive Rolex watch claiming to be undercover police men. I screamed fought back and insisted to go inside hotel if they wanted to search me/ talk to me. I basically dragged the guy holding on to my Rolex inside hotel. Inside they flashed a paper badge to front desk . Not once did security come and verify or front desk . They went through my purse etc. But what concerned me was the lack of security. These men literally tried to steal my watch and wouldn’t physically let go of me . I doubt that’s how the police act towards a tourist in a high end hotel. Not until I called Amex to explain what happened did the hotel security come talk to me. Worst experience of my life !!! Either the hotel is on on it alerting thieves. Or they simply don’t care about their clients . I will never stay there again . So disappointed,
