Even though the hotel has been renovated and the location is great, I would not recommend this hotel. There are some elements that I loved, but the overall experience was not as expected.

We happened to come back to the Palace, after its total renovation had finally concluded – and it was a most pleasant experience. Service was impeccable, from the front desk to the bar (which could improve on its burgers’ quality, but one should order tapas anyway when in Madrid, I guess) and the restaurant, that serves a very nice breakfast indeed. The room was very comfortable, had a very nice bathroom, and with a location on a high floor over the inner courtyard it was quiet, despite the most central Madrid location. Everything brand new and perfectly clean – this will again be our go-to hotel when coming to Madrid.

We have stayed at the Palace four times and our experience at this wonderful hotel gets better every time we visit. The hotel is a beautiful grand hotel, fully renovated and impeccably maintained. The rooms are comfortable and modern, but have character and charm, with all amenities. And the Palace is in a great location -- five-minute walk from the Prado, even closer to Retiro Park, and a ten-minute walk to the Plaza Mayor. The best thing about the Palace, however, is the staff, all of whom are friendly, really helpful, and trained well, and most of whom speak multiple languages. This is our go-to hotel in Madrid for sure.

Recently spent 5 nights at this glorious property. We've stayed at other properties that have recently been transitioned to other brands, this one moving from the Westin Palace to a Luxury Collection property. There were no details spared. The Palace lives up to everything luxury. The general lobby and foyer areas are spectacular. The restaurant had a wonderful breakfast presentation, and we really enjoyed the 27 Club for evening cocktails. Being an ambassador elite member, they did a great job of recognizing our loyalty to Marriott. Very well done.

I just returned The Palace package that I purchased from Luxury Link. It was absolutely lovely. The room was marvelous and the people were so nice and helpful. I must say it was quite a buy. Thank you.

Just returned from 5 night stay in junior suite at Westin Palace Madrid. Breakfasts were excellent as was the dinner. The front desk was very helpful, room comfortable, spacious and well equipped with luxury bath and delightful bed. Service outstanding. Overall, a first class hotel in Madrid. Five nights was just the right amount of time to see Madrid and surrounding sights. This was an excellent value through LL.

My husband and I traveled to Madrid this year and had booked a room at the Westin Palace for three nights. They put us on the special VIP guest floor in a spacious deluxe room with a magnificent marble bathroom and view of the city. If that wasn't enough, they also included a sumptuous breakfast buffet!

The Westin Palace, Madrid, was grand and our accommodations pure luxury. And their dining room served the best roast lamb in town.
