Reviews for Westin Palace Madrid
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Walking distance to the Prado, Atocha train station, restaurants, plaza mayor, etc. Breakfast buffet under beautiful glass dome. Everything you would expect from a five star hotel.

If you come to Madrid to visit the Prado and spend time in the city center this is the hotel to be. You can reach all the major sites with a short walk or a quick taxi trip. Lots of restaurants, shops and rooftop bars are really close.

This is a lovely, Belle Epoque style hotel and so very well located just a short walk to the Prado and the next to the Thyssen. Rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable and staff is top shelf. My only critiques would be 1) the size of the room - a little on the small side for a deluxe room and; 2) there is not a way to make coffee in the room, but you can order it complimentary from room service, however without my so-so Spanish, I don't think we could have managed the order (my husband had a hard time and just handed me the phone in frustration). Otherwise, a great location, lovely public spaces and friendly staff made this a hotel we would return to anytime we are in Madrid.

Nice hotel! Good location. Staff was helpful. You can walk to many tourist locations or hop on tour bus which was behind the hotel. Also had a nice workout center. Would stay here again if I return to Madrid.
I have stayed at the Westin Palace several times now, and each time I am impressed with how well managed and staffed this hotel is at all levels. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful, The bar is unique and offer crafted cocktails. And the restaurant, although expensive, is world-class. Plus it is perfectly located near Retiro Park, the amazing Prado National Museum, and the major Plazas and restaurants.
