Reviews for Westin Palace Madrid
As a business traveler who goes abroad a couple times a year, I'm aware that European hotel rooms are typically smaller that in the U.S. Like others have said, the rooms as this hotel are larger than average. There's p,entry of closet space, a decent size bathroom, and Windows that shield you from the outside noise. The hotel's position is about a 15-20 min. Walk to the Grand Via, about 10mi. To the museums, and close to other hangout spots like the Retiro. There's also a Starbucks to the right as you exit. I ordered a three cheese pizza from room service which was very bland. Let's hope other choices are better. Overall I liked the hotel and would definitely stay again. I usually prefer more contemporary designs but I found the rooms here quite comfortable.

Family and I stayed here from March 9-16. Enjoyed our stay. Hotel was very accommodating in letting us use their special elevator since we had a double stroller (kids ages 4 & 1.5). I'm sure they saw us quite a bit since we were in & out of the hotel quite often. All of the staff were so friendly, loved the hotel, very quiet at night when sleeping (bed was great, slept well every night), and had a great location. Short walk to the Prado, Sol, Mercado de San Miguel. And short drive to the Bernabéu. Made our first family trip to Spain enjoyable. Thank you Westin Palace Madrid for your hospitality! We will be back in the future!

This is a very nice hotel, and located close to old town Madrid which has a lot of restaurants and also very close to a large park which is perfect for running in. Rooms are large and spacious and beds are big and comfortable. A nice breakfast buffet as well.

This is the most beautiful property in madrid, truly a palace. Excellent location . Very nice staff really helpful with everything. A must visit . Has got some really nice restaurants too that you can try near by. Very convenient to travel. Starbucks is right bellow!
We stayed 3 nights at the hotel a few weeks ago, and booked two rooms. We were immediately able to get into one of the rooms, but the other took longer than expected (the staff had already informed us of such when we checked in). In the end, the second room took even longer than expected, but Peggy helped us out and made things better right away (thank you). The room. Amazing. Mario gave us rooms facing the fountain that was in front of the hotel. Waking up and going to sleep to this view is just a great way to start and end each day. Beds were comfortable, showers were great. Housekeeping staff always friendly and with a smile. Breakfast each day were great sitting in that big room, with the staff always trying to get you the best seat in the house, what more can you ask for? Food was also good, so we were well-fed before a day out exploring the wonderful city of Madrid. We were centrally located that we basically walked everywhere - we only used the metro once. Oh, the streets behind the hotel has great restaurants. Museums? The Prado is across the street, the Thyssen is basically next door, and the Reina Sofia is not a long walk away. Yes, we will definitely return. And should you be in Madrid, I'd highly recommend this place.
