The location is fantastic and the atmosphere is so relaxed it is easy to feel like you are in paradise. Great snorkeling right of the beach outside the hotel and the hotel offers free snorkeling equipment. The dinner is very nice to be a buffet, with focus on quality rather than quantity. The resort offers snorkeling excursions and tours to the nearby islands, trips to Victoria and has an agreement with a dive center in Beau Vallon. The staff is great and it feels more like friends than hotel staff. The rooms with the partly outdoor bathrooms is just increasing the feeling of being in a tropical paradise.

Quiet small Island just opposite Mahe. We stayed only two nights in "Fler Payanke ", one of the nearest villa from Reception. Room is quite large , wooden finishing with all..,Jacuzzi too. Beach area is very small ..but good for snorkeling. Island is full of green and brilliantly landscaped. Sunset point also nice area for photos Breakfast and Dinner is average ..not so much choice . Staff are nice and polite and supportive. The levels of personal touch took new meaning when Mr Prakash came to boat jetty to welcome us to the resort and see us off. suggest to have a door from dressing room to Jacuzzi Area and provide WIFI in the rooms Overall our two days stay was enjoyable and memorable in Cerf Island.

My husband and I had a wonderful 11 night stay at Cerf Island Resort in February. When we arrived we were picked up at the airport and further transport by boat to the hotel was punctual and comfortable. Upon arrival on the island we were welcomed by the Prakash, the front desk manager, he made sure the check in was swift and easy after a long travel. He gave us an orientation about Cerf and took us on a short tour around the resort before we were taken to our villa. We lived in a Hillside Villa, ours were quite close to the reception area, so we did not have to walk far to reach the pools or beaches. The guests that lived further away could always ask for a ride in a golfcar. The villa was spacious, lovely and private. The bathroom was especially nice, with a jacuzzi and the "outdoor shower" Loved it! Housekeeping always made sure the villa was clean, and that we always had everything we needed, like beach towels and fresh water every day. A nice touch was the turndown service whilst we were to dinner in the evening. We enjoyed the kayaks at the guests disposal, and visited several of the small islands around Cerf. Also, we went snorkeling both alone and with a group of other guests and a guide that worked at the resort. The underwater world around Cerf Island is beautiful! You can borrow snorkeling gear if you do not bring your own. We also spent one day traveling to Praslin and La Digue, and the front desk took care of all the travel arrangements. Since we left the island before breakfast that day, a lovely tray of fresh fruits, yoghurt, juice and pastry was brought to our villa the night before. A good start to a very nice day! The beaches on Cerf Island are very nice, not crowded, and there we always found available sunbeds even though the hotel was almost at full capacity. There were several free return boat rides to Mahe every day if you wished to spend a day there. We explored the hiking trail across the island, a nice activity if you would like to have a little workout in the heat! The athmosphere on the island is so peacful and we could totally relax and enjoy the beautifyl scenery every day. We were halfboard and only payed for lunch and drinks. The food was plentiful and good, and dinner was a la carte most of the nights. The staff was service minded and always helpful at any request. We were always greeted with a smile when meeting a staff member. A special thanks to Prakash, the other gentleman who worked at the front desk (unfortunately we do not remember his name), and the garden crew member Paul for participating in making our holiday so memorable. We had an amazing stay on this beautiful island, and we would really like to come back to visit! We highly recommend staying here. Thank you! Mr and Mrs Ekeberg

We can't thank all the staff enough, they made our 4 nights stay really magical! Nothing seemed like too much trouble to them. On the check-in we received a free villa upgrade which was spacious, clean and even had a jacuzzi in it. Our highlight was a romantic candle-lit dinner on the beach which was included in a honeymoon package. The chef catered for our special order (which was ginger crab + prawn & mussel curry) and it was delicious! The hotel has its own private beach and its own helipad which is a fantastic viewpoint over the island. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to visit Cerf Island.

We enjoyed every day of our stay at the resort. The villa was great. Whit the outdoor bathroom and a terrace with an amazing view to the indian ocean and Mahe. The service was very friendly and they asked us every day if we are satisfied with everything. We were snorkeling, walking on the beach, made a tour around the island with the kajak and relaxed at one of the both infinity pools. Paradise could not be better! Thank you for having a great time!
