I arrived there to celebrate my birthday with no expectations as this is my first time to stay there. But wow, the unforgettable experience started in the airport meet up itself. Let me list down the great experience: 1. The moment I approached their desk at the Caticlan airport, they immediately provided me and friend with colorful bracelet identifiers and wasted no time to bring us to the van which turned out to be totally just ours! 2. We were not brought to the crowded and rowdy jettyport but to a secluded port where we were asked to just stay at the comfort of our seats in the van while their staff did everything for us. and i mean everything 3. We were led to a boat which turned out to be just ours (again!). staff very friendly and courteous. 4. Arrived in boracay island, whisked again to our own van by courteous staff 5. Once we arrived at the resort, friendly smiles and courteous welcome again. we were there by 10am, way ahead of check in time. 6. instead of filling up forms at the front desk, we were led to our suite, with the front desk telling us that check in process will be done inside the room itself!! never have i experienced that in all my travels around the world. 7. in the room, welcome music and welcome greetings for my birthday. birthday cake, welcome foot massage and birthday touches. what more can you ask for? 8. throughout the stay, the little details of turnover service with unique messages, were really heartwarming. they don't cost anything but they leave a very lasting impression to the guest 9. i love the transpo service. you don't need to wait for timetables. it's on demand with a viber number for you to contact so they can pick you up and drop you off as long as it is within the scope and coverage 10. the beachfront experiences was one of a kind! set up beach mats/pillows. automatic flavored and still iced waters. then later on approach you with cool mist sprays, more drinks and even ice to cool the face. and finger foods! 11. Departure was a replication of the smoothness of our arrival. unparalleled. even my french friend who is visting asia for the first time was so impressed. i won't even talk about how nice the room is and how relaxing the environment is. What really stands out with this resort is the attention to detail of their service quality. i am a notoriously difficult hospitality guest armed with eagle eyes on bad service quality. yet in my 5 days stay in march, that fierce attitude disappeared because of the great experience we had in Discovery. A return to this resort is a must for me! Victor

Discovery Shores Boracay always exceeds expectations! The level of details they put in curating personalized guest experiences is nothing short of astounding. My birthday dinner was made more memorable as we feasted over their house specialties while sat on a nicely set and decorated table with an unobstructed view of the majestic Boracay sunset. Couldn’t ask for more! :) Special shout out to Mara who communicated seamlessly all throughout. Definitely coming back soon. :)

We spent a week here in April 2024 and, although it was lovely, it didn’t feel as special as when we’d stayed previously (several times between 2010 and 2018). The staff were almost all fantastic - special mentions to Jigs at the beach (who remembered us despite it being at least 6 years since our last visit!) whose service level is still as fantastic as it was in 2010!, and Lozel in the restaurant who is a top class waitress - always smiling, remembering our preferences, and looking for ways to make our experience special. The rooms are still nice and maintenance has been pretty good, so they still feel quite new. The lack of sunbeds at the beach (replaced with groundsheets and pillows) was not great for us older guests…. Reception / welcome staff were a bit less smiley, and felt more like they were doing a job than providing a service. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and with Fridays gone, top end alternatives are limited so we would probably stay again next time.

The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because Chie the reservation agent was such a lovely person who really looked after us and gave us best options for the rooms and she deserves a full 5 ⭐️ . If not for Chie our agent it would be a one star review because the service is very slow, I asked for carrot puree for my 6 month baby they said we have to wait for 30 minutes. You are joking, infant should be a priority, the initial agent who checked us in Harry said they will wash our feet complimentary but no one ever did for 3 days. It was our wedding anniversary and no one ever did anything for us which was highly disappointing considering this is a five star resort. The views were good and the transport staff were good. I’m very disappointed otherwise cause if it was not for Chie we would have never stayed there, so thank you Chie for everything you did for us.

Very friendly and efficient staff , always witha smile and ready to assist. Food was great ! Location is excellent ! Nice and clean perfect for families and couples. Going back again next year. This is our third stay. Shuttle service to D-Mall is free and efficient. Airport transfers superb ! The best place to be in Station 1.
