We have recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Anantara Veli Maldives Resort and boy, what a choice! We checked ourselves into the Deluxe Over Water Villa for 4 nights. First up, the surrounding is simply wonderful, we have never experienced something like this before. The water and the beaches are so clean and beautiful! What we really enjoy is that we always find generous space for us to enjoy our privacy. Next, the room is very spacious and with a good layout and of course, the spectacular view that comes with it. Facilities wise, the resort is very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Very good choices of F&B outlets (7 of them), we managed to try 5 of them, given our limited time. We especially like the Cumin and Dhoni. Both restaurants served quality food. Prices are not cheap (we don't expect them to be given the setting) but the quality and the service at both the restaurants make it worthwhile. BUT.... all these would mean nothing if not for the people who run the resort! Everyone serves with a heart and with great sincerity. Special call out to our host, Miss Feruza. She is very detail oriented and has a beautiful smile. She will always make an effort to meet us face to face and check on our well beings. On one stormy evening, she came to our rescue at the restaurant and sent us back to our villa safely. She has the awareness to pass us 2 beach towels to cover ourselves from the rain and the strong wind. These may be small gestures, but it tells much about her personality. Hopefully we can meet her again when we return. Thank you.

We chose Anantara as it was an adults only resort to celebrate our 10 year together. We had the most amazing time there. The hotel, location, rooms, service, friendly team, restaurants, bars, pick up from airport, drop off to airport, transport - simply every part of our experience was well curated and clearly they have thought about their service from the perspective of their client. We also had three islands to eat and drink in. They gym is brand new and has great equipment and every night we ate till we were in a food coma. Every meal we had was amazing, even the snacks in the bar. Thank you, we couldnt have asked for a more memorable trip for our anniversary. Plus my partner is a surfer and he had the most epic surf for 7 days and Tropic Surf again were amazing

Stayed 3 nights in a Deluxe Over Water Pool Villa. Our villa host, Noah, told us that these villas are Anantara Veli's newest Over Water Villas. They are also the largest over water villas in Veli. Please note that these villas are the furthest away from the restaurants, etc... If you did not want to walk it, you can easily call for a buggy. Breakfast is served at the restaurant Cumin. You can order as much breakfast as you want from their menu. We particularly enjoyed our conversations with our server, Nabith, Giip (the barista), and Hassan (person preparing our fresh juices). Our favorite restaurant for dinner is the authentic Thai Restaurant, Baan Huraa. Thank you Maath and Tippy, our servers. Had dinner one night, at Origami. There are 2 types of dining there. One is Teppanyaki and the other is an a la carte menu. We would also like to thank our servers there, Ricky and Hassan. Finally, we wanted to give special thanks to Aboo with housekeeping and we also highly recommend, Noah, as your villa host for her attentive service.

Our visit to Anantara Veli was the hands-down favourite of our Maldives trips to date. We felt so pampered and taken care of even before setting foot on the island, from customised in-villa preferences and seamless airport transfers, not to mention the heartfelt service and friendly staff who — quite literally — went the extra mile every step of the way during our stay. It rained heavily just before our departure, and our villa host and colleagues sheltered us with brollies right up till we boarded the boat, despite getting drenched themselves. The villas have recently been refreshed and are tastefully appointed, and the many activities on Veli and its sister resort were more than enough to keep us busy throughout the stay. We also loved that there were so many dining options for different types of cuisines, and the food (especially at the Thai restaurant) was superb. A big thanks to our villa host Jenny and Shafi from Dhoni bar, as well as all the morning staff at Cumin restaurant, who made our stay so special and memorable. We can’t wait to be back!

The accommodations at The Resort are luxurious and well-appointed. From spacious rooms with modern amenities to private villas with stunning ocean views, every detail has been carefully considered to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff specifically my host Mr Rifau went beyond my expectations.
